After talking it over with Herobrine and the Heallven house, the group decided on a team... but there were a few problems. They had no way to contact Cyberdog, so he was already out. Prokaz couldn't join them since he was native to Universe Heallven. They needed at least ten people and they only had about eight that they could think of... and then they knew who they needed. Kaira, of course, was hesitant when he suggested Dreadlord and Entity_303, but... that's who they needed.
"How are we supposed to get them here, though?" Herobrine asked his son "They're down in The Dunes of Doomed Souls. How are we...?" He looked to Ashley "The attendant wouldn't have given you anything to call them did they?"
"Uh..." Ashley had to think, then she remembered "Oh, right!" She ran up to her room and rooted through all of her drawers "It's gotta be in here. Goddamit, why the hell do I never organize this shit?" The group waited for her to come back for a little over a minute, then she came back with... something "They gave me this." It was a bronze cylinder with a silver snake design collider all around it "They told me to break this open and we can call them." She grabbed the cylinder on both sides, then broke it over her knee.
She dropped the cylinder and both sides emitted a bright blue light, which merged, and formed their attendant, who greeted Ashley with "Ah... hello, my friend. Have you rethought my offer?"
"It's less that, and more that we'd rather not have to fight off soldier constantly... again!" She was irritated.
The attendant smiled at her, then replied "Yes, yes. I assumed so. Well, do you have your team thought out?"
"Uh... kinda," Kaira cut in, causing Ashley to close her eyes and let out a breath while the attendant looked at him "So... we know who we need... but we kinda need you to bring some people back... from The Dunes of Doomed Souls. Yeah... so can ya do that?"
The attendant looked at the boy, their eyes showing nothing but deep seeded hatred for The Dunes of Doomed Souls dwellers, and asked "You want one, no, multiple of those psychopaths to join your team? I can't exactly tell if you're desperate or stupid."
"He's both," Ashley told the attendant with a grin "But he's right. Dread and 303 may be our best chance to win... or maybe someone else I'm forgetting."
The attendant pondered this for a moment, then nodded, and replied "Alright. I will bring three people back with me."
"Oh! Alright, we only asked for two, but three would be just as appreciated," Ashley replied "Thanks... whatever your name wa- oh, okay." Before she could finish, the attendant disappeared. Two and a Half Hours Later
They were all waiting in Sora's house, Serenity and Kaira playing catch with a sphere of flame. Ashley was reading a comic book while laying her head on Tristen's leg looked on his phone at what the rules would be. Apparently someone had caught wind of the tournament and was now posting up rules they thought might be used for the tournament. Prokaz was doing sit ups up side down. Evie and Candy were trying to meditate on the butts of their spears like Ashley did, but, of course, they were unsuccessful.
"Alright, I'm back," The attendant suddenly appeared in front of Kaira, who accidentally threw the fireball into the attendant's face "That was very rude... but I have gathered those you have... oh, that's troublesome."
"What happened?" Tristen asked as he got up from the couch, accidentally almost knocking Ashley off the couch.
"One of them seems to have disappeared. Oh well, let's see the other two... come in boys." Entity_303 and Dreadlord "I'm sure you're all acquainted by now."
"Oh, shit!" Kaira yelled as he turned his robotic arm into a blade.
"What the hell?" Serenity called her scythe to her and set the blade aflame.
"Oh, great. Them again!" Tristen used his ice powers to created two swords.
"Guy! Stop!" Ashley told them "Remember, we told them to come. These are our friends from The Sand. Okay, maybe not friends... but, we know they're strong. They'll be able to help us win this thing, or at least give us a better chance."
"What I hate is that this is a terrible idea," Tristen groaned "But you're right. What's the plan?"
"Maybe we should have a few training matches," Dreadlord spoke up "We've been gone a long time. If we just go in for this tournament, we may be rusty, maybe our powers would even be weakened. I think it'd be a good idea to have a few quick matches before we go... perhaps I could fight Serenity. We've never gotten the chance to before, and I know she's almost on the same level as Kaira." Tristen looked down at Serenity, who narrowed her eyes at Dreadlord.
"You just wanna kill me," Serenity told him "I have very little reason to trust you not to stab me the moment my back's turned."
He tilted his skull, then replied "It seems you've inherited Herobrine's paranoia. I have no further quarles with any of you... even Kaira." They all lowered their weapons at this, Dreadlord sounding genuine "All I ask is the chance to test my powers again."
Serenity looked at Kaira, who nodded, so she looked back to Dreadlord, and replied "Alright. I'll fight you." His eyes dimmed for a moment, then he nodded, and turned to Kaira.
"It's been a while," He told Kaira, to which the boy nodded "How are you?"
For some reason, Kaira... couldn't help but to smile up at his old adversary as he replied with "Eh, things've been fine... but, now we gotta deal with this."
"Well, then. What do you say we end that little contest quickly. If it's a tournament, then we should be able to wipe out a lot of the competition."
"Well, there's the problem," Entity_303 "None of us know what we will be going up against-"
"And... thats what reminds me you've been dead for... well quite some time." Entity_303 looked at him "Prokaz over there... and whatever all their other names are- I don't give a shit- they're from another universe... so we have that bit of information."
"Well, then what are we waiting for?" Ashley asked "Let's get these first few fights so we can get to the main event."
"I concur," The attendant said "Come, perhaps I could find one of my pocket dimensions where we can have our little brawls. And don't worry, you will be able to use powers."
"Now... who am I going to have a quick little brawl with?" Entity_303 asked "Unlike Dreadlord, I still hate all of you... so I'd be happy to fight anyone."
"How about me, old friend?" Herobrine asked as he stepped up "We've both gotten stronger since last we met, I can feel that... so come on. Old man." He smiled at Entity_303 while Dreadlord looked between the two.
"Fine," Entity_303 hissed "I suppose you will do, but rest assured it won't be as easy this time around. You won't have the child to help you this time."
"That's fine... let's go."Two Hours Later
The group had been transported into the Attendant's pocket dimension and were debating on which fight they were going to watch. Sora and Hana, of course, were going to watch Serenity fight with Dreadlord. Ashley and Tristen were going to the Herobrine and Entity_303 fight with Kaira. Evie and Candy were going to Serenity's fight while Prokaz was going to Herobrine's.
"So, who do you think is gonna win this?" Triten asked Kaira.
"You know? Even though Entity's pretty powerful, I've got a good feeling about Herobrine's- chances!" He was suddenly tackled into the sky by some black figure!
"Kaira!" Tristen yelled.
"Come on," Ashley told him "Let's follow them!"
Kaira looked up at their face and found who the third person was whom the Attendant had brought back. Vordus... of course it had to be him. It couldn't have been that giant, right? No, no, just Vordus. Well, Kaira was a little happy to see him, however, but not because he was his father. No, he was happy to see him because he had never actually gotten the chance to kill him... well now he was ready for their rematch. He looked up at the four armed monster with an insane grin on his face. He conjured a fireball in his left hand, then shoved it in Vordus's mouth. He spun out of control, still holding Kaira in his arms. They broke through the bubble that was the pocket dimension and fell out into Aether again. The two bounced off of the light pool house and separated. While Vordus fell directly to the ground beneath, Kaira bounced down the stairs. He let out a grunt each time he impacted, wether it be on the edge of the stairs or the flat steps. When he finally fell to the right of the stairs and landed, the two staggered back to their feet.
