The Water Hybrid, Kallae and the Earth Hybrid, Rorak were running through the volcanic caves. After the fight between Serenity and Adar, the heat had died down since the lava got cooled. They had been trying to find what was left of their team, which wasn't much. Adar had been knocked out in a different tunnel and Orion, the Botanto Hybrid, had just jumped off of the edge a while ago. Aratiri had been knocked out in the beginning of the tournament so he wouldn't be any use. Barak and Achillean were still in the tournament, but Achillean seemed to be waiting for something and Barak was too drained of his energy to be of any use. While Ozul was fighting now, he really seemed uninterested with most contestants, so refused to fight them.

"We have to regroup with the others!" Kallae told Rorak before a fireball flew past them.

They turned around and Rorak yelled "What the!?" He pulled up a wall to block the next one.

The wall was blown up by the fireball and they saw Serenity glaring at them with her fist held out at them. Kallae growled and ran past Rorak with a massive wave conjured behind her. She split it in two and threw one of them at Serenity, but she just evaporated it. Kallae through the next one down at her and tried to cause a tidal wave to crash down onto the young pyromancer. She spaced for a moment before snapping back to reality. She swung her arms out and sent a plume of fire into the water. A thick fog surrounded the area Serenity had been standing and completely concealed her. The two Hybrids looked around, trying to find her in the cloud, but she seemed to have just disappeared.

"Keep your eyes on the ball!" She yelled as she jumped at them.

She shot two fireballs at them, but Rorak created a dome of rocks around him and his friend. She jumped on the wall and Rorak glared at her while dropping the shield. He created an earthquake to make her come down from the wall. Serenity looked around and noticed what he was doing and jumped away before she would be crushed under the ceiling of the cave.

"Alright, maybe we need to slow this down," Serenity told herself while in the air.

While the boulders crashed down behind her, Serenity landed between her two opponents. Rorak got into a battle stance and Kallae did the same while Serenity held out both of her hands. She kept looking toward them as she tried to figure out who would attack first. A purple fireball suddenly shot down from the opening and landed between the three. It exploded and they all looked up at where it came from, only for Kaira to teleport down behind Kallae. Serenity looked at him and he looked at her, both silently deciding which one they would each go after. Serenity turned her eyes toward Rorak and Kaira nodded slightly.

"Time for round two," Rorak said, sensing that it was time for the battle to start back up.

Serenity threw a fireball at Barak, who used a gauntlet of stone to block the attack. Kaira smiled at his girlfriend, then turned back to Kallae, and threw a fireball at her. She put the flame out with a spurt of water and the two engaged each other. The duos began to fight each other in one on one fights, yet they were still fighting together.

Serenity was sending fireballs at a rapid rate at him, but he used the rocks beneath him to move him out of her attacks' way. He could probably have dodged her normally, but he wanted to move faster than her attacks could. Serenity stopped her fireball barrage and Rorak threw a gigantic wall of rock at her. Serenity watched it come at her, but she couldn't move fast enough to avoid it. The wall of stone slammed into her and she was sent flying back. He jumped at her and ripped a part of the ceiling out. He swung it down at her, but Serenity just barrel rolled out of Rorak's range. To make him go away, she sent a fireball up at his groin. He jumped back and she backrolled up to her feet before attacking him again. She pulled back, then thrust her palm out at him. He used another stone glove to slap the fireball away, then threw the glove at her. She rolled to the side and kicked a fireball at his groin. He kicked it away with more stone armor and kicked the boot at her again. She blocked with with both forearms and groaned when it shattered upon contact. She spun around and shot a fireball out of her fingers, but he jumped over it.
