Half Way There

The two glared at Ozul and his power began to bathe the area in a bloody red tinge. Kaira and Prokaz looked around as the tinge washed over the entirety of what was left of the arena. Kaira cracked his neck and got into his battle stance while Prokaz created a skull blaster behind him.

"Alright, what's the move here?" Kaira asked.

"I dunno. We've never met this guy before, so we can't base him off of anything."

"His energy feels a lot like Entity's, though."

"True, but that doesn't mean we know what he can do." Kaira looked back at his brother "So what do you suggest?"

"Look, I'll fight him myself for now and see what he can do. If you see me having trouble, or you think I won't be able to take him myself, you can jump in."

"Alright, well then- look out!" Prokaz looked toward their new opponent again and saw that he had jumped toward them.

Prokaz jumped backwards and dodged a slash that tore into the arena's floor. He landed on his back and rolled backwards while Kaira jumped over him. He summoned a fireball in his palm and spun around with a snarl. He put the ball right up to Ozul's face and blew it up! Ozul was pushed back a few inches and Kaira actually did more damage to himself than the enemy.

"Alright," Kaira sighed "I'll get out of here for now." Prokaz looked up at him while standing back up on his feet "But I'm coming back when things get dicey."

Prokaz grinned and replied with a single word "Deal." Kaira teleported away and Prokaz faced Ozul again.

Ozul opened his fist and turned his fingers into claws before thrusting his hand at Prokaz. He watched the attack come, then created a shield of bones around him. Ozul pushed down on the shield and managed to get a single claw's tip through. Prokaz looked at the claw and noticed that it was glowing. He used another bone to cut the arm off, then threw the hand that was in his shield up into the air. He created a skull blaster and blew the hand up, but when he looked back at Ozul, he saw him recreate his arm. Ozul had an oddly calm expression on his face that scared Prokaz more than if he looked angry.

'This guy's power's hard to read,' Prokaz thought while staring at Ozul 'Maybe if I fight him more I can get a better grasp of his powers.' Ozul turned his arm into a blade. 'But I'll need some more space to fight him in... maybe that abandoned town could work.' Ozul stabbed the blade into the ground and the dried out lake began to glow a dark purple "Oh shit!" The ground blew up and sent Prokaz tumbling backwards into the forest. "Alright, let's go." He smirked at Ozul and began to run through the forest.

He swerved around trees and Ozul followed him, unknowingly being led into a new area to fight. Ozul jumped at him, but Prokaz rolled underneath him. Ozul landed on a tree and used it to launch himself toward Prokaz again. Ozul jumped out of the forest and saw Prokaz running up one of the very few large buildings that hadn't been destroyed... or maybe that god turtle thing was just creating more obstacles, he couldn't figure it out, and really didn't care. Prokaz got up to the roof and Ozul created a small sphere in his palm, which confused Prokaz. Ozul held his palm out, then pulled his arm up while sending a laser beam out at Prokaz. It just missed him and Kaira looked back to see the mountain behind him explode. He looked back at Ozul before casually walking down to the edge of the roof, and jumping down to the street. When he landed, Ozul let more of his energy extrude out from every place it could on his body. Prokaz began to notice his own heavy breathing before his legs gave out on him. He tried to move, but he could do little more than move his back up slightly. Ozul created a circle of his own energy in front of himself, then one in front of Prokaz. The younger warrior was confused what the circle was while Ozul punched the one in front of him. The one in front of Prokaz exploded and sent him flying into the scorched remains of the mountain range! He bounced off of a jagged boulder and landed in a clearing in the middle of the burnt mountain's remains.
