Kaira and Serenity were resting in one of the houses in the town part of the arena. There was nothing they could use aside from food to replenish a bit of energy. Kaira's arm had been minimally damaged, the metal having been torn into. They suddenly heard the hail of energy blasts begin to rain down. Luckily the house seemed to be out of the emerald assaults unpredictable targets for now. All they can do now is hope for the best and assume that this was the power being extruded by Emerald. The goliath warrior's power was insane, the energy chaotic and powerful. The longer the battle royale continued, Emerald's power just continued to grow. The energy barrage seemed as random as it was powerful, then blasts stopping and starting back up without any understandable reason.

"Okay..." Serenity looked out of the windows and saw Emerald flying around, seeming to have no reason for his movements other than to find new targets.

"I think we're good in here for now," Kaira said as he looked out the window "Those energy blasts are powerful, but their movements are pretty easy to predict."

"So we just need to hide out in here for a bit?"

"Yeah, it's not exactly the most entertaining approach, but if we wanna stay in this fight, then we'll have to conserve our energy as much as possible," Kaira replied as he sat down against the wall "I can't if there's a time limit, so as long as we need to, I think we can just stick around in here." Serenity looked out the window and saw the Triple Realm team coming toward the house, but it seemed like they were just going to go past it.

"Yeah, alright." She sat down with him and sighed, putting her head against his shoulder "Well... this seems familiar."

"Yeah, it does," Kaira replied while he rested his cheek on her head "It's like the moments after we beat Dread. One of the best moments of my life." He put his arm around Serenity's shoulders and pulled her closer.

"You... really? That was one of the best moments of your life?"

"Well, I only had like a decade and a half, so that really isn't saying a whole lot," He replied, making her laugh a little bit "But I finally felt free... and I was with you." He looked down at her "And right now? I just wanna stay like this." Serenity closed her eyes and pushed her head against his neck, but then one of Emerald's blasts blew up the house "Oh, god damn it!!!" They fell away from one another, but then when he looked up, Kaira spotted Prokaz "Ooh... I still wanna finish our fight, big bro." He scrambled to his feet and ran toward him.

"So, what do you wanna do when we find your siblings?" Cathay asked as she walked with Autume and Prokaz.

"Oh, I'm gonna kick your brother's ass," Autume told prokaz confidently "If he's anything like that Tristen guy, then he'll be a breeze."

He began laughing, but then someone grabbed him by the shoulder, and asked "You wanna repeat that you son of a bitch?" he turned around and instantly got punched across the jaw by a metal fist.

He fell flat on his face and Prokaz laughed hysterically before he exclaimed "Wow! He wrecked your shit." He turned back to Kaira "So, little brother... you wanna fight him? Because I honestly need to see that."

"Oh no... I'll leave that to someone else," Kaira told him, then Serenity walked toward them while Autume got up "Oh... yeah, Seri works." Kaira cracked his neck "But Prokaz... I'm after you." He got low, then launched himself toward Prokaz.

"Oh, okay! Looks like we're already doing this!" He charged toward Kaira and the two began to battle.

"So, cunt."

"Woah!" Kaira yelled.

"Autume!" Prokaz exclaimed.

"What? She's a cunt. A bitchy cunt. Whacha gonna do about it you little cunt? You gonna cry like the little girl you are? You gonna shit or piss your pants, ya baby bitch? Or are you just gonna nag me... like a cunt."
