Kaira was breathing heavily, walking through the forest with the mist that strangely didn't affect him. He cut through a tree and felt something come up behind him. He looked back, but didn't see anything there. He knew that someone was behind him and he had a very good feeling who it would be. A few minutes later, he got out of the forest, and sat in the ruins of a house that had been destroyed.
A few yards away, Dreadlord was standing next to one of the Elementals. Dreadlord was watching Kaira intently and the elemental next to him turned his arm into a long sword like blade. Dreadlord could hear it shift and decided to play along, just so he could get another shot at Kaira.
"Just so you know, Dread. This isn't us becoming a team. We are taking care of a powerful opponent. That is all," The elemental told him.
"You realize that if you attack me now, you'll give away our only advantage over him."
"Only advantage? We clearly have many."
"Let me guess. We're stronger, we have more experience, and there's more os us than him. Correct?"
"Exactly. He stands no chance."
"Incorrect. I speak from experience and numbers mean almost nothing against him. We may have more experience, but he will adapt quickly. Our strength means nothing if we can't hit him, which knowing how well he's learned how to teleport, it will be difficult. Under estimation is something that has gotten too many people nowhere but defeat, and I am not going to be added to that list."
"Hm. I'm sure a mere child wouldn't be able to put up a defense against me. You can stay behind and I will take care of him."
"Alright, but he's mine to defeat." Dreadlord sat down and watched the Elemental go down to attack Kaira.
"What? Oh, come on. I just got out of that fight we Emerald, gimme a break." Kaira grunted as he got up from where he was sitting and glared at his new opponent "So, what's your story."
"I am Cryan. I am a Hemalur Elemental."
"Uhuh," Kaira replied, clearly not understanding what that meant.
"I have power over blood and the form of my body."
"Oh! Ew."
"What you may deem as disgusting, I see as powerful. Would you like me to demonstrate my power for you?"
"I mean, sure. It's not like you're gonna be able to top what I just got finished fighting. Go ahead." It was evident that Kaira was either not in the mood for this or just too tired to even try and pretend to care.
"You're an arrogant little boy, what with your power and team," Cryan scoffed "But do you know what the difference between you and I is? You will punch a board and it will splinter. I can simply touch a board and help it win a war."
"Well, did you win the war?" Kaira groaned.
By this point, Cryan had had enough, so he began to transform into his Elemental state. Which was much different than the others that Kaira had seen up until that point. Where as the others still looked like their human and hybrid forms, this one was completely different. It grew until it was just under double Kaira's height, with crimson bubbles forming all along its body. His muscles expanded until they tore open, with blood oozing out of the wounds. The liquid covered him and turned him into whatever this form was. Kaira was fixated on it, as the transformation seemed like it was causing Cryan immense pain. His face split open as he screamed and the skin was seemingly absorbed by the blood. His skull reformed and pushed itself to the forefront of his head.
"Ooh, that looks like it hurt a lot. You alright?" Kaira asked, still mesmerized by the disgusting monstrosity in front of him.
"Oh... oh I'm more than fine. I'm the strongest I've ever been!"
