As Promised, The First Of Many

Ronnie's POV

"Zang..." Zangoose stared at the tree while he focused energy on his claw. "Goose!!"

Zangoose struck the tree hard which left a hole in it.

Zangoose then shook his hand, he's been giving it his all the whole time we've been training,

"Ok, that's enough training for today Zangoose." I returned him to his poke ball. I then looked at it and smiled. "Glad you care as much as I do buddy."

"Ring ring ring!" My rotom-phone flew out of my pocket while shaking. "You've received a notification! It is time for orientation! Go to the school auditorium!"

After walking back from the woods and into the school, I walked into the auditorium and I was somehow the first to arrive but it didn't take long for other students to start flooding in.

I took a seat as more and more students began walking in, some in pairs or groups.

As you can expect, orientation was just a bunch of old people from the staff giving speeches about stuff NOBODY cares about.

Very boring and nothing interesting at all.

After orientation, we were called up to get our schedules by the letter our last name starts with.

After we received our schedules everyone left the auditorium. Most went to their dorms or went out to eat.

"You're on!" I heard someone say. "I'm tired of you thinking you're too good for this school because you beat some random to get in!"

"Don't say all that just to lose." I heard another voice say, but this one was familiar.

I looked over and saw Dontre and someone else there.

He had blonde fluffy hair and was somewhat tall.

He and Dontre walked out of the school and went to the battlefield and I followed them out.

I stood by the wall as they walked to opposite sides of the battlefield.

"Is a 1v1 good for you?" Dontre asked.

"Yeah," the guy said back. "It'll be better crushing that Lucario of yours with my own ace."

"Lucario let's handle him." Dontre threw out a Poke Ball.

"Raaagghh!" Lucario roared as it landed on the battlefield.

"Charmeleon let's burn his confidence!" He said as he threw out a Poke Ball

"Charrr!" Charmeleon growled.

"Lucario start with bone rush!" Dontre commanded.

"Trying to use super effective moves huh?" The guy said. "Stop it with fire pledge!"

"Charrr!" Charmeleon put its claws together and slammed them into the ground, sending a row of flames that exploded into Lucario.
