I've been thinking about it lately and it's time I swallowed my pride.

Long story short, I don't know if I want to continue with this story.

And it breaks my heart to do this at such a pivotal and key point of the story.

The breaking point has been a huge learning experience for me on creativity/originality, and many other things.

At the start, I wasn't very original, so the story was built on a bad plan.

I want to finish this story, I REALLY do, but with this current pacing it's having, how long it's taking me to publish, I don't know if I can.

I've simply lost the motivation to write this story.

I'm deeply sorry to those who have enjoyed my story, and my 3 friends who have supported me, guided me, and criticized me along the way.

So after a full year and then some, The Breaking Point, from here on out, will be discontinued.

Now, as I mentioned, the Breaking Point was a huge learning experience.

It was my third story, my second with GIFs, and the only one to go beyond 40 chapters.

So taking the experience I've gained from that, and what I learned, I will be taking that into something new.

I haven't figured out much on what it's gonna be about it, or even made a final decision on the name.

I'm gonna take my time planning this time. This is it. I will not let down my readers again.

I want it to be different than anything in competition with it, and better.

When can you expect this? At the earliest, mid-late January. And when it comes, I'll unpublish this story.
