Ronnie's POV

As Braeden and I were running through the city, ahead of us we noticed the streets were destroyed, but there wasn't a grunt in sight.

"They really cleaned house..." Braeden said. "I was hoping we could interrogate one of them."

We then turned the corner.

"Your hopes aren't Farfetch'd then," I replied.

When we turned the corner, we saw a mod tending to her Tyrantrum.

"That darn trainer and his Pinsir..." She said as she kept a spraying potion. "All that for nothing. They're never going to know what's going on anyways."

Pinsir? That doesn't sound like anybody I know.

"Really?" Braeden said, holding a Poke Ball in his hand.

"Yeah, didn't you know we were-" She was cut off as she was yanked and held in the air.

"Virreee!" Electivire said as it fully formed, holding the mod with its tail.

"Tell us everything. Now." Braeden said.

"Who even are you?!" The mod said again.

"That's not important," Braeden said. "If you don't answer I'll just have Electivire shock you until you do."

"What do you want to know?" She asked.

"What do you have planned in Akala?" I asked. "Don't leave out anything."

"Hey... I recognize you. You're the one who took Riolu," She said. "You're the one who sent my friend to our base all beat up!"

"By Sandsap River? I was just defending Riolu from you creeps!" I replied. "Even then, why does it matter all that much to you?"

"You...! The boss was pissed off! She got shot in the head because of you! And I had to clean up the mess! I was hoping to find you to- HNGGGHHH!" She ranted until she was shocked by Electivire.

Someone died because of... me? That masked man killed them?

At that moment I felt every ounce of blood in me start to boil.

How could he just kill someone like that?!

"That's enough out of you. Answer his question." Braeden said. "Don't make this hard on yourself."

"We have an operation in the Volcano. The stone to summon Reshiram is in there." She said.

I've heard of that Pokemon before... In history class...

"There are 2 teams, the mining team and the distraction team." She explained. "The mining team is inside the volcano searching for the stone. And the distraction team makes it seem like the operation is at the top of the volcano."

These guys sure like to mislead people...

"The distraction team will also jump in to stop anybody from interfering with the operation. So trying to go inside to stop is useless." She said.

"Not if we have our own team fight them..." Braeden said. "Drop her Electivire."

"Vire..." Electivire loosened his grip and dropped the mod.

"I have one last question, which one is that masked man gonna be in?" Braeden asked.

"You mean Lucifer- I mean, our leader?" She answered as she was catching her breath.

Wait- Lucifer?! That's the name my dad brought up when we took on the shadow Gyarados! How did it take me so long to realize?!

So I see why Shadow Pokemon have been following me wherever I go recently. Team Trinity has been targeting me with them.
