Ronnie's POV

"Yeah, that's one nightmare alright," Declan said, obnoxiously chewing with his mouth open. "But I'm afraid I have no idea what it could mean."

It was lunchtime, and I was just now telling Declan and Keandre about my nightmare from the other day.

"Maybe it doesn't have a meaning at all," Keandre said. "I wouldn't worry about it."

"What you guys talking about?" Lauren said as she sat down next to me.

"Ronnie was telling us about his-"

"Swallow your food before you talk it's pissing me off." I cut off Declan.

"Geez dude," Declan said after swallowing. "Ronnie was telling us about his nightmare from the other day."

"You have nightmares?" Dontre said, holding a bag of lunch in his hand. "What else haven't you told me about you?"

"That his mom-"

"Declan," I said sternly. "Shut up."

"Who pissed in your cereal?" Declan said back.

"I hate you so much," I sighed. "But anyways, I only told Lauren at first, but she thought I should tell Declan and Keandre since they were there too."

"You didn't think to tell all of your friends?" Dontre said. "But whatever, I'd tell my girlfriend first too."

"It's not like that!" Lauren and I said at the same time.

"I mean I see it," Declan said.

"Me too," Keandre added. "Whenever I see one of you, the other is right next to them.

"Don't get me started on you two," I said. "Both of you are head over heels for another girl."

"What?! No I'm not!" Keandre exclaimed.

"Denial," I whispered.

"Yeah whatever dude," Declan said. "And how come you haven't said anything about Dontre?"

"His mysterious ass could have 10 secret girlfriends for all I care," I said, causing almost everyone to chuckle.

"Dude I only have 1," Dontre said back.

"Like I said, secret girlfriend," I said.

"..." Dontre didn't say anything back and just took out his lunch.

"Anyways Rocket, are we going right after school?" Lauren asked.

"If you want," I answered.

"What are y'all doing?" Keandre asked.

"I offered to take her shop-"

"That's literally something a boyfriend would do!" Dontre cut me off.

"What?! No it's not!" I said back. "Friends go shopping together all the time!"
