Ronnie's POV

After Keandre battled Luke, I had lead him and Lauren to the woods next to the dorms.

"What exactly are we doing here?" Keandre asked.

"This is where I train in the morning," I said. "Or at least when I wake up on time."

Once we got there I let all 3 of my Pokemon out of their Poke Balls.

"Zang!"

"Lisk!"

"Oluh!"

Then they all lined up by a tree.

"You know what to do," I said.

They all nodded before starting to do small and quick strikes on the tree.

"You make 'em do this every morning?" Lauren asked.

"Yes," I said. "It helps them stay in shape in case we don't battle someone for a while."

"How long do you do this for?" Keandre asked.

"Usually for a minute and a half," I said. "I don't want their hands- or Heliolisk's tail getting too messed up."

"I see, " Keandre grabbed 3 Poke Balls and tossed them up.

"Sol!"

"Lucha!"

"Axew!"

Lauren also grabbed and tossed up 3 Poke Balls.

"Garchah!"

"Aggron!"

"Murott!"

Each of their Pokemon started striking their tree.

"How do you make progress without breaking the tree?" Keandre asked.

"Watch this," I said. "Finish!"

"Rio!"

"Helio!"

"Zangoose!" They all simultaneously did one last strong blow, that each dented the tree.

As anyone may expect, Zangoose had the biggest dent of them all.

"That's a bigger dent than yesterday," I said to Riolu. "You've been working hard."

"So what else do you do?" Keandre asked.

"Just watch," I said.

All my Pokemon started climbing their tree before hopping from branch to branch, tree to tree

"Well, how is that gonna work once you get a bigger Pokemon like Garchomp for example?" Lauren asked.

"I'll make them run with me," I said before I started running deeper into the woods. "Just follow me!"

After a short run, we reached Sandsap River, one of the shallower parts of it. Standing there was my 3 Pokemon.
