Ronnie's POV

I sprang up suddenly like I had woken up from a bad dream.

But instead of being in my darkroom on my bed, I was somewhere beautiful. And I was wearing exactly what I fell asleep in, which was a pair of shorts, no shirt.

I was on water so reflective it looked like the beautiful blue sky.

But at the same time, it was so shallow that it couldn't even reach my ankles.

I walked through, admiring the scene, until I bumped into what felt like an impenetrable wall

I walked through, admiring the scene, until I bumped into what felt like an impenetrable wall.

I looked up, but there was nothing there.

I stood up and reached my hand out, and felt an invisible wall right in front of me.

"Woah..." I continued to press my hand into the wall.

Suddenly, giant orange and red cracks spread across the wall like wildfire.

"What the...!"

Then the wall shattered apart, revealing a landscape covered in lava and flames, with a row of stones separating the two areas.

And in front of me, was... also me?

He had the same dreads and build as me, but his eyes were covered in a shadow.

"Take... over!" He said in a distorted voice. "Let me!!"

"Huh?" I said back.

"Take...over!" He said again but in a louder tone.

Suddenly the fiery landscape reached across the blue one as he grabbed me by the neck and started choking me.

I then suddenly sprang up like I did before.

But this time, I was in my bed.

"What the hell was that...?" I said to myself.

I then looked at the clock, and it was around time for me to get ready.

I ignored the nightmare for the time being and went and got ready.

I'll just tell Lauren about it... maybe Declan or Keandre since they also know about my nightmares.

After I did what I needed to do, I headed for the student commons.

Once I got there, I saw Lauren, Dontre, and Sariah sitting down at the table we usually sit at.

"Oh sup Rocket," Dontre said as I sat down before dapping me up. "Haven't heard from you all weekend."

"I was spending most of my time napping or playing games," I said. "I usually spend my weekends not talking to people much at all."
