"And that's how the very earth you are standing on was created." Mr. Gav said. "We'll continue with Hoenn legends throughout next week and into the week after."

"Hey did you get any of that?" Declan said to me.

"Yeah, pretty easy to me." I said back.

"You think you could give me the answers to the homework?" He asked.

"Dude, it's 3 multiple-choice questions," I answered. "Just pay attention, dingbat."

"I have a hard time doing that!" He said.

"Ugh," I sighed. "The homeschool effect."

"Dude."

The bell then rang and everyone got up from their seats.

"Hey Ronnie!" Lauren walked up to me.

"Wassup?" I said.

"I was just wondering if we could go to that diner you talked about after we do the project." She said. "Is that cool with you?"

"Uh... yeah that's cool." I answered.

"Alright sweet," she said. "I'll see you after school!"

She then walked out of the class and I followed after I put my stuff in my bag.

After the last period, Lauren, Dontre, and I were walking through the halls.

"Who are you paired up with Dontre?" I asked him.

"That girl uhh I forget her name..." he said. "Sariah or something I think it is."

"When y'all doing the project?" I asked.

"We agreed to do it tomorrow," he said. "She said she had something going on today."

"Ight," I looked over at Lauren. "Wanna get going now?"

"Yeah," she replied.

"Cya Dontre!" I said.

"Later." He said back.

Lauren and I left the school and went straight for the forest.

Sandsap Forest connects to a lot of parts of the city.

It connects to the power plant I met Heliolisk and Lauren, the river, and even a small part of the biggest lake in Riotro.

They do fossil research by the lake, but except for the researchers, nobody is allowed in the research facility unless it's a special occasion like a field trip.

Lauren and I had been walking for around a minute now when we heard a sudden rustling sound in the bushes.

I quickly grabbed Zangoose's poke ball as the rustling continued.
