New Beginnings

the sun was hot..
very hot.
Kazuichi walked along the side walk allowing the sun to shine through his face. He was happy after all. Today would be his second year in highschool, first year in a new school overall! But not just any school. Hopes Peak Academy.

Hopes Peak Academy was a school for the best of the best. Only gifted juveniles could dream of entering, and it's been Kazuichis dream ever since he was a kid.
Once his letter of acceptance came, he was the happiest man alive. The Ultimate Mechanic..a title he'll hold for years.

The boy grinned ear to ear, fumbling with his jumpsuit and making sure he was presentable. It wasn't long until the school was in sight. He marveled at it. The large building was just a few steps away. A few more steps and..wait.

Kazuichi looked around, it was just him? surely he'd see students piling in right? Students walking into the school talking with eachother all excited about their first day.

'man don't tell me i'm late..' he thought, coming up with an excuse as to why he came in late on his first day. He walked towards the school, but soon realized..something was off.

He suddenly felt dizzy, spiraling out of control, like someone just punched the back of his head.
"Ah..what?"
He tried to turn around and catch a glimpse of what could've hit him. But his head felt heavy again.

He used all his strength to stand but he couldn't. His legs began to give out and the back of his head hurt like hell. As he put his hand to his head, he felt something trickle down his arm. He knew what that was. This situation was obviously not good. Immediately his adrenaline kicked in and all he could think of was getting the fuck out of there. He used all his might to stand straight and begun to turn around and make a run for it.

But unfortunately, the last thing the boy saw in his peripheral vision was long blonde hair and red fingernails before blacking out.

"Hey! are you okay? Wake the fuck up goddamnit!"

Kazuichi shot up, he was laying on a desk that began to pool with his own blood. His vision gradually adjusted and he saw a short boy with blonde hair, accompanied by a taller girl with dark purple hair. They both were discussing about him it seemed. They then turned their attention back to the pinkette. The girl with purple hair seemed to be clutching onto something and she shrieked upon seeing the blood on Kazuichis head. She immediately began to bandage Kazuichis head up.

"I-I knew it! I just knew he was bleeding! Sir! p-please answer!" the girl cried obviously panicking. The boy scoffed. "you're the ultimate nurse aren't ya? just fix em up!"

"wait, what's goin on?" Kazuichi asked confused. He looked around and noticed he was in a classroom. Along with the two, there was a girl with silver hair and another boy with white hair and a long green jacket. Looking around, he saw his beanie lying on the floor and instinctively picked it up. "p-please don't move too much!" The girl asked as she finished and began to breathe, she was obviously in a state of panic. Kazuichi looked at her confused putting back on his beanie. "Are you..okay?"

"we should be asking you that" The boy stated. He spoke aggressively but soon smiled at Kazuichi. "I'm Fuyuhiko Kuzuruyu, the ultimate gang leader, or Yakuza to be formal. "A-and i'm M-Mikan Tsumiki! The ultimate nurse" The girl smiled and grabbed Kazuichis hand, shaking it.
Kazuichi began to get an understanding of the situation, recalling his memories of being knocked out. But all he could focus on right now is making friends with these two kind strangers. "Nice to meet'cha! Im Kazuichi Souda! Ultimate Mechanic!" He stood up from his desk and gave them a friendly thumbs up.
