Will o' The Wisps (miraculous ladybug x OC)

Naya's pencil clacked across her tablet as she glanced up again to reshape the eiffel tower in her mind. It was a beautiful sight, twinkling in the sunlight like pure gold. She'd already drawn it a few times, mostly at night and involving her three favorite superheroes somehow. But never at day, surrounded by bright shining blue sky with the sun sitting at its peak as if it were balancing there, waiting to slowly fall towards the horizon.

She nodded to herself before turning back to her work. This one was going to turn out well, she could already tell. Maybe she'd leave superheroes out of this one; just let the Paris skyline speak for itself.

Naya always felt so happy when she was drawing. Drawings didn't judge and they didn't talk back. They just sat there and waited to be finished. Waited to be completed. Somehow, she could relate. Everything in her life felt like it was missing its last layer, its final highlights, its little corner lens flare. Problem was, she knew what that missing piece was: her Kitty. If only he could finally be hers then everything would be fine and happy.

But she couldn't have him. Not while he still loved Ladybug. So, the only thing for her to do was get him to love her more than he loved Ladybug. Right! That was her plan! Now to execute it.

She looked around, as if waiting for Cat Noir to leap out of the sky. When he didn't she sighed and went back to her artwork. Right. What had she expected to happen? She'd just have to wait for that night to talk to him and get closer.

"YOU!"

Naya jumped, almost dropping her tablet as a giant hand filled her vision. She tried to run but it was too fast for her, wrapping around her body and hoisting her into the air.

Do I transform? No! I risk people seeing me this way. And if I transform now, Hawkmoth will know who I am! Kitty! Come on!

Finally she stopped being raised and dangled face to face with a giant...cop? Wait, wasn't that a dad of one of the girls in her class? Yeah! The one who sat next to Chloe! What was her name...Sabrina? Right! Sabrina!

"What are you doing?" she yelled as loudly as she could, trying not to look down. "This is against the law!"

"I'M GOING TO BE KING KONG! I DON'T LISTEN TO LAWS ANYMORE!!!!!" He shook her up and down roughly and she held on for dear life to his hand.

Come on, Kitty! Come on!
Then the cop moved, starting towards the Eiffel Tower she'd been drawing.

Is he gonna climb it!? Naya glanced around in horror at the ground and buildings speeding past her, but there was no black superhero in sight. No red one either.

"Cat Noir! Ladybug! Help!" she screamed, kicking at the hand. What did he want to do, eat her? She wasn't ready to die!

"Naya!"

She gasped, tears rushing to her eyes at the familiar voice. "K-Kitty...?"

"Naya! I'm coming!"

She looked towards the sound of his voice to see the two superheroes rushing across the rooftops to save her. Ladybug sent out her Yo-yo to wrap around the giant's arm and pulled, flying up towards them.

"Cat Noir, you know this girl?" she called to her partner as she started wrapping up the giant's legs.

"We're...friends," he called back uncertainty. Then he frowned and yelled, "It doesn't matter! Let's just save her!"

Ouch. Well, I knew it would be awkward when this eventually happened, but wow. Ow. In this situation Naya didn't even have time to be hurt, as she was whipped through the air and almost smashed into one of the nearest buildings.

"Ah—Ladybug, a little help?" she yelped, struggling again, terrified. Should she transform? It wouldn't matter that her identity was hidden if she was dead. But no, it was still too soon, plus she'd get a talking to from Ladybug if she revealed herself, and she really couldn't deal with that right now.

"I'm coming!" Ladybug called back, swinging over to wrap her wire around the base of a white apartment and pulling. The giant cop's legs were pulled tightly together and he fell, dropping Naya as he did so.

Am I...going to die? No! I'm not ready! Should I transform now? As the ground sped towards her an image of her mom passed through her mind. No, she couldn't put the people she loved in danger. She closed her eyes, accepting her silent end  in a single splat, but before she could her trajectory changed with a thud and warm arms wrapped around her waist.

"You okay, ocean blue?" his beautiful voice whispered into her ear.

"Kitty..."
