Glow up

A teal glow encircled Naya, rising quickly and her body until she felt her clothes and hair change.

Walking over to her full body mirror, she surveyed the change. Her shoulder length brown hair had turned fully teal, now with a brown streak in place of the teal one. It was tied up into a long high ponytail and her hair had grown out in the back. She had two horns similar to Willow's growing out of her head and she wore a brown and green mask covering her eyes.

Below the neck she wore a green bodysuit with teal and brown swirling patterns covering it, and in one hand was a glowing golden stick. Behind her legs was a cape of sorts protruding from her back almost like a wide tail.

"Wow." She spun a few times in the mirror, looking at herself from all angles before glancing around the room for Willow. When she didn't spot the Kwami anywhere she glanced at her hand, surprised to see the mark was glowing slightly green. It looked more cool than creepy, so she didn't really mind.

"Oh, right!" She walked towards her window, then pulled it open and looked down the five stories to the street below. There was another building in front of hers, but it was way too far away to jump.

Or maybe not, since I have superpowers now!

She leaned out, then back in, her heart pounding. It was really, really far down to the street, if she fell she'd definitely get hurt.

"Do it for Cat Noir!" She whispered to herself, pushing off from the window.

And falling.

"Gah!" she gasped as the ground started speeding towards her.

Calm down. If this is Cat Noir's stick then I know how it works. And...extend!

The glowing stick shot out one side, hitting the ground and pushing her up and over the next building. She landed gracefully, smoothing back her hair. She felt like a million bucks.

After testing out running and jumping with her new powers for a few minutes, as well as trying the other holder's weapons, she felt confident enough to find Ladybug and Cat Noir to help them out. Fortunately, they were making a bit of a ruckus on the west side of town, so it was easy to locate them.

As she lept from building to building, the wind flowing freely through her hair, the reality of the situation really started to sink in. Would she have to go fight every supervillain? She'd have to think of a name too! And a different character to play when she was that name so no one would find her out.

Oh, right. I'm sure Kitty is a completely different person when he's not a superhero. Does that mean he's faking when he is?

Is the Cat Noir I know not the true person under the mask?
