I'm here.
Wisp landed gracefully in front of the Agreste manor before leaping onto the roof with a light thump. She ran along the raised edge until she reached the circular window overlooking the Paris skyline Gabriel had been talking about. Just as she reached, it the window opened in a hexagonal shape and she hopped into the darkness.
"Grab her."
"Wha–" Wisp tried to jump out but her head connected with cool, hard glass and she fell to the floor, stunned. The same woman's voice who had ordered before laughed gently as Wisp felt two huge hands wrap around her arms, lifting her into the air. She struggled but they barely moved.
What is this, a sentimonster?
Hawkmoth's voice laughed eviliy, echoing around in her head. Oh, little Wisp, you think I'd let you just wander in without some protection? I don't expect you to betray your friends so easily.
His presence vanished from her mind and she saw the glowing outline of an akuma flutter to a newly lit hand washed in purple light.
"Turn them on."
The lights flicked on and Wisp blinked in the sudden brightness. By the lightswitch there stood a supervillan with purple skin and a purple-blue fan, along with a matching peacock dress, smiling at Wisp.
"Do you like our little trap?" she asked softly. Wisp immediately recognized her voice from the one time she'd come to pick Adrien up at school; Natalie, his tutor and caretaker.
"So the whole family is rotten," she sneered, glaring at the two supervillains. "It makes me wonder if Adrien's adopted."
"Enough trying to change the subject!" Hawkmoth banged his staff against the floor angrily. "Give me the miraculous and I'll let you go."
"I dunno." Wisp tried to lean back, doing her best to appear nonchalant despite her situation. "Maybe after you betrayed me like this I don't feel like it."
Hawkmoth nodded to his partner, who started towards Wisp threateningly. "I wasn't asking."
Come on, Kitty, Ladybug! Just as Wisp glanced back towards the window a thud came from the other side and the glass inside cracked slightly. The two supervillains froze, one midstep, and stared at the crack. Wisp grinned. They were here. They'd had to follow her at a safe distance so Hawkmoth couldn't pick them top on his radar, but close enough that they wouldn't lose her.
"What?" Hawkmoth gasped. "How can they–?" his eyes widened and he glared at Wisp, rushing forward and prying the miraculous out of her pocket. In his frenzy, the clay pieces crumbled away into nothingness in his palm, red and black powder covering his palm. "Fakes! You never were on my side!"
"Sorry to dissapoint!" She kicked him in the chest, sending him skidding back to where Natalie was. The crack grew as more thuds came from the outside until finally the glass gave way, crashing down into the room. Wisp winced as one piece sliced across her cheek. She felt a wet trail of blood start to slide down the side of her face.
The first one in the room was Cat Noir, using his stick to whack the creature holding her upside the head, sending it flying back into the corner. Wisp landed gracefully on her feet like a cat herself, smiling.
"You're late."
"Sorry. The window gave us some trouble." He lowered into a crouch, stick raised threateningly as Ladugbug landed next to him. Wisp joined them as Hawkmoth and his partner backed up, looking a little worried.
"It's over, Hawkmoth," Ladybug snapped, swinging her yo-yo as she approached them.
"Never." He raised his staff, releasing a swarm of balck butterflies to which Wisp yelled "fabricate!" and created a wall that separated the three from the two. Realizing they couldn't get through, the akumas returned to their master. He scoffed, the top of his staff opening and sucking them back into it.
