Detective Ken Ma is bringing me somewhere, and I've tried asking him again and again, almost stuttering my words, where he was taking me. All I got was a disrespectful hush from this man.

I really needed to know where he was taking me. I've reached my limit.

I can't do anything about it though, I'm literally stuck inside his car. Not a patrol car, or work car, but his actual, big, Range-Rover that he's been bragging about car. And I've heard enough.

"You'll thank me when we get there, okay?" Ken spoke, his eyes focused on the road.

I rolled my eyes. "I'll thank you right now if you tell me."

I heard him chuckled. "No can do, señorita."

I gave him a hard punch on the shoulder, trying to make sure it's hard as it gets. The car swiveled, my heart almost left my body, the excitement of dying makes me want to jump out of the car. Maybe I was just stressed, and I was thinking of that.

I gripped on my seatbelt tightly, Ken steadying the car.

He doesn't look at me, but I could see the nervousness surrounding his eyes. When I was sure that he wasn't going to speak, or looked at me, his eyes flickered on the road, and then me.

He was mad.

"You don't ever do that again, Alisha." he spoke with strict. His voice changed from teasing me, to near killing me. He gripped on the wheel tighter, his veins appeared, and it scared the shit out of me.

Veins are scary, and disgusting. Apparently, women like that.

"Where are we going, Ken? Can you just please tell me." I spoke. I was close to losing my mind.

He shook his head, tapping the wheel. "We're two minutes away. Stop asking questions and annoy someone else."

"There's no one else here!" I whined. Okay, not really in a whiny way. But Ken knew me, not that much, but he knew me. Not really well, but I'm always different around him.

"Well, suck it the fuck up, detective. If you can't shut your mouth, I have many ways to do it for you." he spoke. I was flabbergasted, what was that all about? I looked at him with big, wide eyes. When he turned to me, his eyes were the same as mine.

"I am so sorry. I didn't know why that came out of my mouth." he quaked. "Wow. That sounded really not me." he blinked the thought away, his eyes back on the road.

Maybe it was better to tease him? I grinned, "You've been mingling around, aren't you?"

His cheeks turned red, my eyes went wide once more. "You are!" I gasped.

"Not your business," he muttered, the words left his mouth like a feather.

"Do I know the person?" I teased. I'm very proud of him because now he's mingling anytime he wants, not like before, he'd drown himself with work. This way, he'd forget about work, and actually have a life.
