The rain plattered gently in the dark night. She was very soaked in the rain, head to toe but she didn't care less. She was annoyed, annoyed at herself and annoyed with the kind of life that had been fated to her.

She was almost harassed sexually again by one of the customers at the club, but she was thankful that her boss Madame Glenna could step in for her before it became almost too late.

This was not the first time she was almost assaulted in the club after her night job of being a stripper, and it was definitely not going to be the last.

She was disgusted with herself, but she was helpless. She didn't bargain for this, she never knew she would ever have to work in a club just to support herself and her ailing mother this way.

But what could she do? Life played a huge game on her, and now she just has to play along with whatever life has to offer her.

This was the so called life of Yasmine Meyers. Losing her father to a cruel death in the hands of drug Lords on a fateful rainy night like this was the worst day of Yasmine's life. She sat there,in the middle of crowded people, commenting, looking as the rain washed his blood away as his eyes were tightly shut in death. She never be able to play games with her father anymore and have long night chats with him while mom was asleep.

It was all gone.

Lost. Forever.

She hated rainy nights. She cursed at herself and cursed at the heavy clouds, but the rain kept falling, as if mocking her of her current situation.

At last, she got to her dorm room, and removed all her wet clothes before she proceeded to have a warm shower before retiring to bed. She didn't feel like eating. She did even feel like opening her mouth. She just wanted to keep mute like this. Maybe for a day or two, or maybe forever. It felt so good to just be still.

She tried not remember how that man tugged at her clothes in the club, ordering her to strip naked in front of him. She closed her eyes anytime she heard his annoying drunken voice in her head. She felt like the earth should open up and swallow her. She wished she could just disappear from the face of the Earth.

But such a wish is far fetched.

Besides, her mother needed her.  She couldn't just abandon her helpless mother for a silly wish of hers. She had to work, and raise money for her mother's treatment make her better. That's all she ever wanted in this cruel, crazy world.

Her roomie was asleep, and she was thankful. She didn't want to be bothered with questions. She lied down on her bed and and everything that transpired throughout the day flooded her memories again. She sighed. She has been enduring for this long, so she shouldn't cry. She's doing it for her mom and  for her to be able to finish her college, so she should just try to endure.

That was her watchword.

Ever since her father died, she had the responsibility of taking care of herself and her mom. There was nobody there for her, even her mother's family left them.

She didn't know why her father died. She only knew that he was a drunk and he was not capable of holding his liquor. She heard from people that he owed a lot of money to drug lords in California, and they were the ones who killed him when he couldn't pay back his debt.

Her poor father. He died a painful death. And ever since then Yasmine detested drug dealers. She hated them with passion. She had every right to. After all they were the ones who murdered her poor father in cold blood on a rainy night.

Yasmine wished she could find the person responsible for his death. But who would she ask from? Everyone feared the drug dealers in California. And unfortunately, Yasmine was working in the biggest clubs in California, the only place you could find the deadliest rich men and drug lords, Là Calantrò.

Là Calantrò was the most famous and most visited  club in all of California. It only sold and entertained the richest men in the city. And there she was, working as a stripper.

Yasmine was the most heavily paid stripper in Là Calantrò. She was so beautiful and talented in her job she only performed for the most richest customers. She was referred to as the Hidden Beauty, mainly because her full face was almost never revealed. Men craved for her attention and her performance and some even wanted to just have her.

Unfortunately, it was not even an achievement.

Yasmine only had two principles guiding her in the risky job she was doing.

One, always earn your self respect and second, never talk back to the customers. Only politely decline. It was easy for Yasmine to follow her rules because her boss, Madame Glenna was there to help her. Though she was a fouled mouthed big busty lady, Madame Glenna respected her because she wasn't like the other girls. Yasmine earned her a lot of money and customers than the rest of the other girls, and in return Yasmine only told her she would work for her if she doesn't make her sell her body and defend her from the other customers.

Surprisingly Madame Glenna agreed. She knew she couldn't afford to lose such a beautiful and talented girl. It would be her own loss.

And ever since then, both women kept their promise, Madame Glenna especially. At least Yasmine was protected.

Yasmine didn't know how long she would have to work, school and live like this, but she was hopeful. If sh could just finish school as a qualified doctor and earn money for her mother's sickness and upkeep later in life, she wouldn't have to worry. She would be able to treat her mother herself anytime her mother falls ill, and she wouldn't have to work in a club just so she could earn the money for the treatment.

Change is a constant thing in life. That was Yasmine's watchword time she was losing hope. Very soon her situation will change for the better.
