Aryan and Imlie are back in Mumbai working through their grief of losing Krish and Aryan's baby with Madhu. As they begin to build a life together in Mumbai, Veer continues his mission of returning Imlie's home back to her.

Three weeks later.....

Imlie smiled politely at people as she passed them by in the grand lobby of Mumbai Hospital. Two weeks ago, Aneesh had called with the news of his relocation to Mumbai and Imlie had applied to volunteer yet again at the NICU at Mumbai Hospital. 

Just like old times. She smiled to herself. Together, they'd both find their footing again in a new NICU. 

The phone in her hand buzzed. Maa. Her smile widened in delight. 

"Maa!" 

"Imlie, my dear. Where are you?"

"Just leaving the hospital. On my way to the store. Malhaar's birthday is coming up and I wanted to make him a special meal."

"Accha? When is his birthday?"

"On Sunday. He'll be 30 this year and we have so much to celebrate."

And yet, they had still not talked about going back to Ambegadh. He kept ducking around the topic anytime she brought it up. 

That was so unlike Dadu and she was getting weary of it. 

"And how is Malhaar, Imlie?"

"He's doing okay."

"Does he like the apartment he has now?"

"I think he does. It's close to where we live and the residential complex is quiet enough for him."

"He is such a good boy. I wish......I wish he'd meet someone who'd bring .......I don't know Imlie. He looks so lonely sometimes."

"Hmm.... He refuses to consider it Maa."

"But why?"

Imlie sighed and observed the passing traffic, waiting for her car.

"He has nightmares. One time while he was in recovery, he grabbed the throat of a well meaning caregiver. Ever since then, he believes he is a danger to anyone who lives with him. As in......you know, close to him."

Narmada twisted her lips sadly.

"I'm glad Aryan convinced him to start seeing a therapist in Mumbai. I hope it's helping."
