3 days later;
Nurse: good morning Mr. Kettering
Damon:hey Nurse Price, how my babies doing?
Nurse: your wife is having a very rough morning. Still a lot of pain and soreness from the stitches and she's extremely tired still. The triplets are doing amazing though
Damon: is she gonna be released today ?
Nurse: I'm waiting on the doctor to come examine her, because of the soreness and stitches it is pretty common to have pain and she had triplets so it's a lot of strain on her body, but I just wanna be on the safe side and have her check things out
Damon: okay thank you, has she ate today?
Nurse: no, she said she wasn't hungry earlier, but she should be now. Me and the other nurse are gonna help her shower in a minute. But if you want to try and get her to eat go ahead
Damon: okay thank you Nurse Price
( Damon goes in the room. Sits the food down and washes his hands before walking over to the bed)
Damon: hi beautiful
Kenya: groans) hi baby
Damon: I heard it's been a rough morning for you ( rubbing her hair out her face)
Kenya:(nods) I'm in so much pain. My whole body hurts
Damon: I'm sorry, I wish it was something I could do mamas. I cooked you breakfast, wanna try and eat
Kenya: nods) yeah
Kenya pov: I was in pain and not feeling good at all. Dame sat my bed up and helped me eat. That food was so good and much better than the garbage hospital food. After that the nurses came to give me more pain meds and got me ready for my shower.
Nurse P: you think you can stand up for me ?
Kenya: mhm
Nurse T:holding her up) very slow
Kenya:groans in pain) shit
Nurse P: I know you're in a lot of pain, but you think you can walk to the bathroom room or you wanna be wheeled over there ?
Kenya: I-I can walk
Damon:let me help (walks over to her ) lean on me if you have to baby
Damon pov: I slowly helped Nurse Price walk Kenya to the bathroom. I knew she was in some pain and I wish I could do something about it. Nurse Price gave her a shower while Nurse Tina changed the bedded for her. By the time she got out the shower she was walking a little better. The nurse helped her back in bed and let her get comfortable. I hope she can get released, but with all the pain she in she might need to stay.
Damon: how you feeling now ?
Kenya: I'm alright, the pain is coming down
Damon: good, you think doc gone let you come home ?
Kenya: I hope so, last time she came to see me she said my stitches and everything looked fine
Damon: you'll be fine then
Kenya: you didn't give me my kisses today
Damon: oh I'm sorry mamas( gets up and kisses her a few times)
Kenya: smiles) thank you
