Kenya pov: more and more of the family started to arrive and I went and sat at a table alone. Ms. Debbie and Mr. Kettering really went all out. They had clowns, the cocomelon characters, a dj , bounce houses. All the kids were having a good time. After a while Damon's mom came to get me.
Debbie: I wanna get a few pictures with you and Dj and the kids
Kenya: ma I don't know bout that
Debbie: it will be real quick, come on it's yall babies first birthday

Damon pov: Kenya came finally and we took pictures with the kids. I wanna talk to her but I don't wanna argue and mess up our kids birthday. It's so awkward and I wanna break the ice.
Damon: Ken come wit me
Kenya: ok
(They go in the house )

Damon: can we talk for a minute ?
Kenya: sighs) Damon don't do this on our kids birthday please. I didn't come here for drama
