Damon:( on the phone with his dad) I fucked up big time dad
Damon Sr: what did you do?
Damon:( sighs) slept with Toya while we were out of town
Damon Sr: come on DJ why would you do that to Kenya ?
Damon: we were drinking once Imani went to bed. We slipped up. Kenya left and I don't know where she is. I've been calling her for the past 2 hours. She didn't even wanna talk to me
Damon Sr: son you cheated on her, she's pissed off you gotta give her some time to cool off
(Damon's line beeps)
Damon: hold on dad she's calling
Damon Sr: okay
Damon:( switches over) where are you Ken ?
Officer: um Hi this is Officer Daniels, is this Mr. Kettering?
Damon: yes, where's my wife? Why do you have her phone?
Officer: I'm sorry, your wife has been in a very bad crash, she's being rushed to the hospital
Damon: what!? Is she okay ?
Officer: sir I think it's best if you get here now
Damon: okay I'm on my way
Damon pov: my heart sank, I quickly called our next door neighbor and asked her to come over and watch the kids. Once she did I grabbed my keys and left. I called her brother Jacob on the way to the hospital.
Jacob:( answers) hello
Damon: Jacob , Ken just got into a accident
Jacob:what!? Is she okay? The kids wit her?
Damon: I don't know if she's okay, the police said it's bad. The kids were with me. It's a long story
Jacob: we gone get there as soon as we can, keep me posted
Damon: okay
A few hours later:
Debbie: honey she's gone be okay
Damon:(tears fall)it's my fault, she left because of me. I got her in this situation. We been sitting here for 6 hours and she's not outta surgery yet
Keith:( walking into the waiting room) where is she? What they say? Why weren't you with her?
Damon: she's still in surgery they said a semi was speeding and lost control crashed into her from the rain. She was pinned in the car
Jacob: who got the kids?
Damon: our neighbor is watching them til my sister get there
Keith: why was she out so late?
Damon:(sighs) she left because of something I did
Keith: you put your hands on my daughter?
Damon: no never, look I don't think that matters right now
Jacob: it does cause my sister in the damn hospital, what did you do?
Damon: I cheated on her !
Jacob:( punches him in the face) you lost your damn mind!
Keith:( pulls him back) calm down Jay
Damon Sr: you got some nerve
Debbie: everybody sit the fuck down and cut it out....
