Camilla's POV

"Come in!" I yelled and the person knocking opened. My mom walked in wearing her nighttime face mask and a black silky gown. It fit her perfectly. For someone who was thirty three, she sure looked younger.

"Hey sweetie." She sat on my bed. I was doing my homework.

"Hey mom." I closed my notebook.

"Homework?" I nodded. "Need help?"

"Nope, I got it." She nodded.

"Well I wanted us to talk." I nodded. My mom was different from my mother. She wasn't my biological mother but she was more easier to talk to than my biological mother. Maybe because she was still on the young side. So I felt like she understood me. I mean I'm fifteen and she's thirty three.

"About what?" I asked.

"Will." I immediately rolled my eyes.

"Why should we talk about Will?" I asked.

"Because the poor boy won't stop bugging me."

"Why can't he leave me alone?" I mumbled more to myself.

"He's your friend princess why would you say that?"

"Well he hurt me." I said looking away. She sighed.

"Are you still not going to tell me what he did?" I kept quiet. "Okay does he know why you're angry at him?" I shrugged.

"He should know." I whispered.

"Talk to me Cammy, what happened? I might help you know." I sighed.

"Mom he lied to me." I finally said.

"Go on." I groaned.

"Okay fine I'll tell you everything. You were right, I like Will and you were right again he likes me too." She squealed happily. "Mom!"

"Okay sorry." She smiled and then motioned for me to continue.

"Well we finally decided to be more than friends and he asked me out on a first date." She nodded smiling. "Well he didn't show up." I said.

"He didn't?" I shook my head no. "He must have a good reason for not doing so because the Will I know is not that kind of boy sweetie." I scoffed.

"That still doesn't make me any less embarrassed. I waited for him at our hotel restaurant but he didn't show up. I feel so stupid for believing he liked me." Mom sighed and took my hand pulling me to her. I stood up and finally sat on her lap resting my head on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry baby. It was wrong of him to do that but can you at least hear him out? Even if you don't want to be friends with him anymore it doesn't matter, just hear him out. He might have a good reason." I sighed nodding slowly.
