Paige's POV

"Mom, can I talk to you for a second?" I looked up to see Gray.

"Sure" he walked further into the home office and sat in front of me. "What's going on?"

"I have something bugging me." I nodded for him to continue. "Well, it's been a week since I have been called to the principal's office and you came to my rescue. It's also been a week Billy and Jake haven't come to school."

"Honey they were probably suspended for their wrong doings." I said.

"I know and as much as they tried to pin it on me, they're still my friends. I feel kind of guilty."

"Gray why do you feel guilty? The way I see it you didn't do anything wrong."

"Because I'm a traitor." I frowned.

"Where did you get that?" He shrugged.

"Everyone is saying it."

"At school?" He nodded. "Honey listen to me. You did the right thing by telling your mother and I the truth okay? You are not a traitor. Those boys tried to use you as an escape goat. They are bad friends."

"But everyone else thinks I deserve to be suspended like them."

"Don't mind them sweetie. Not everyone's opinion matters." He nodded. "Will you be okay going tomorrow or do you want to take tomorrow's lessons home?" I asked.

"You'd allow me to stay?" I nodded.

"Tomorrow only." He smiled.

"Thanks mom." I smiled.

"You're welcome honey. Now get out of my office young man, I have work to do." He chuckled and headed out.

Lorena's POV

"Good morning Miss Lorena."

"Morning Carrie." I walked towards the stairs headed to my room.

I arrived in my room and took a deep breath looking at the place. Last night in this same room, my whole world came crushing down.

I laid on the bed facing the ceiling and sighed. I realised I hadn't touched my phone since last night at dinner. I wondered where it was. I tried to think if I left it at Kimberly's place. That's when I remembered I left without a phone last night. I looked under my pillow where I last put it and found it. Still on do not disturb. I took it to check any messages or emails. A lot of calls and messages were from Autumn.

Autumn: Lorena please call me back.
Autumn: Your parents are worried about you. Heck I'm fucking worried about you. Where are you?

I called her back.

"Lorena!" She yelled. "Oh my God where have you been?!"

"Somewhere safe." I said lazily.

"Your mother told me what happened." I kept quiet. "Of course she didn't go into details but she did say you both had another heated argument."

I expected that.

"I'm fine Autumn." I lied.

"You don't sound fine. Was it bad this time around?"

"I'll be fine. How are you coping without me thousands of miles away?" I faked a laugh and she laughed.

"I'm fine. Josh loves it here. While I'm still trying to get used to this place." I nodded.

"That's good."

"I wish you could come to visit soon." I smiled genuinely.

"I will. I promise. Just make sure you stay away from alcohol now that you're pregnant." She laughed.
