Ronance/does that make us friends?

Sleepover, again

"oh hey Robin! staying over again I see" Karen said when the girls got back from the hospital. She actually really liked Robin she thought it was good for Nancy to have a friend again given what happened to Barb.

"Yep" is all Robin replied.

once the two got upstairs Nancy immediately looked annoyed once she saw Mike sitting on her bed.

"Why are you in my room?" she asked him with annoyance in her tone

"I well I..." he started to say but then looked up to see Robin standing there too "I wanted to talk but looks like she's around again" he said now he had annoyance in his tone. he had nothing against Robin personally, he just thought she's been hanging around too much.

"don't be a jerk Mike! if you wanna talk we can, but don't be rude to my friends"

"sorry" he said looking at Robin but it wasn't easy for him. saying that simple word made him feel like he just got punched in the stomach.

Robin left the room to give them some privacy.

"so since when do you want to talk to me about things?"

"I don't, but you're the only person around and I need to tell someone"

"wow thanks" she replied sarcastically "anyway what is it, you look upset?"

"I think El is cheating on me"

"What? Mike, El loves you, I don't think she'd do that"

"Fine! I knew you wouldn't believe me!" he spat then started to walk off

"Mike wait I'm listening, who do you think she's cheating on you with?"

"Lucas"

"Lucas? I don't think either of them would do that to Max"

he just gave her a glare and said "what about me?!"

"You too, but you're not the one in a coma are you"

"maybe you're right..."

"I am"

"She is" they both looked and Robin was by the door

"How long have you been there!?" Mike asked looking embarrassed

"Your mom asked me to tell you dinner was done like 2 minutes ago" "but I didn't wanna ruin your sibling bonding time" she added sarcastically

Nancy was just holding in a giggle because Mike was giving Robin a death glare and it just came off as him looking really constipated.

the three walked downstairs and to the dinner table.

as they started to eat nobody was really talking that's how it usually was because when they did chat it would usually lead to an argument between Nancy and Mike, then Karen and Ted would start arguing as well. but since they had a guest Karen decided to start conversation.

"So I hear you two are going to visit Max tomorrow" she said looking at Nancy and Robin

"Yeah we ran out of time today" Nancy replied

"Mike, you got to see her right? How did she look?"

"Uh like she's in a coma" he replied sounding slightly rude

she just rolled her eyes and looked at Nancy instead "so how are things with you and Jonathan?"

"fine I guess"

"you guess?" Karen questioned

"fine." Nancy reassured

Karen then turned her attention to Robin "what about you Robin, do you have a boyfriend?"

Robin suddenly looked nervous "oh uh no guess I just haven't found the right one yet"

"what about Steve? you two look close" Karen said trying to keep the conversation going. simply because it's been too long since they've all had a dinner talk.

"they're Platonic with a capital P" Nancy chimed in with a smirk.

Robin just gave her a smirk back but the others didn't really get it.

Karen then turned her attention to Ted scolding him about having his newspaper at the dinner table well the others just continued to eat.

the hours had passed by and Robin & Nancy were getting ready for bed. Nancy looked at Robin before turning to turn off the light she had looked really cute in the pj's Nancy let her barrow.

"What?" Robin asked with an awkward giggle

"Nothing you just look really cute" Nancy said. that's normal to say to your friend, right?.

Robin blushed hard and said "Shut up!" while throwing a pillow at her.

Nancy finally did turn off the light and said "good night Robin"

"good night Nance"
