the two arrived at the hospital and were now just waiting for Lucas and Eleven to come out so they could finally get their chance to visit Max.

the two walked out with the normal gloomy look they've both had since the day she went in the coma. they were a little hopeful since at least El could see inside Max's mind now since before it was just darkness, El could even talk to Max a little now. though not for long however it was extremely difficult for both of them. but still they needed more, they needed her out of that coma.

Robin and Nancy walked in there and stood in silence for a minute but then Robin finally spoke

"So.. what exactly do we do now?"

"I don't know, just visit her I guess"

"but like, shouldn't we talk to her or something?"

"I don't think she can hear us"

silence filled the room again as the two just stood there by Max. they didn't really know how to visit with someone who can't hear, see, or speak to them.

Lucas and Eleven came back in the room so the two then had to leave. as they walked back to the car Robin said

"well that was kinda a waste"

"I don't see it like that"

Robin just swung her a confused look

"what I mean is, I know she didn't "technically" know we were there but I feel like deep down she actually did" Nancy just closed her eyes in embarrassment and said "sorry that was dumb it didn't make any sense"

"I don't think it was dumb" Robin replied with a smile

for some weird reason Nancy felt her cheeks go pink.

she looked at her watch and said "that was shorter then expected so we have some time to kill, do you maybe I dunno... wanna hang out today?" she asked hesitantly. she was worried since the two had hung out so much lately maybe Robin was getting kinda sick of her. but her worry faded when Robin replied

"Yeah I'd love to! and I know the perfect place."

the pair walked into Scoops Ahoy.
Robin had the idea to bring them there because Steve would be there. he decided to quit the job he had at family video and return to his old one. he claims it's because the manager didn't like him at family video and sure that's probably partly true, but Robin suspects that it might have something to do with the other new employee Scoops Ahoy has.

don't think Robin didn't notice Steve's flirting with Nancy die down after he started hanging around the lovable "freak" Eddie Munson more often.

"Hey dingus!"

"Hey Robin- ladies" he says when he notices it wasn't just Robin

"Hey Steve" Nancy said shyly.

then Eddie came up behind Steve playfully hitting him on the back and said "can I get you ladies started? I wouldn't want him handling the ice cream if I were you, who knows what could fall out of that hair" he said the part about Steve in a hushed tone.

Steve just replied by rolling his eyes and turned the tables by starting to make fun of Eddie's hair.

It seemed like forever through Steve & Eddie's bickering but the two finally got to order their ice cream.

Robin ordered basically like five ice creams mixed together with toppings but Nancy just got plain vanilla.

"How boring are you Nance?" Robin asked looking at Nancy like she had just committed a crime.

"I'm not boring I just don't wanna destroy my taste buds like you are"

"AT LEAST get some rainbow sprinkles so it won't look as boring"

Nancy sighed "fine add some sprinkles to that" she said to Steve who was just amused by the pairs tiff.

the two started eating their ice cream. Robin was trying to get Nancy to try hers to which she finally agreed.

"It's great isn't it!"

Nancy looked at her as a disgusted look formed on her face, she tried to keep it in but she couldn't. she spit it into her napkin.

"Eww how can you eat that?!"

"I take it you didn't like it"

"No!"

Robin burst out laughing and Nancy just gave her a glare.

they finished their ice cream and spent the rest of the day just roaming around the mall enjoying each other's company.
