Confession

Time jump: it's been about a week since Nancy broke up with Jonathan. she's been busy with work and Robin has been busy moving all her stuff to Steve's place. so the two haven't really gotten the chance to talk. but Nancy has the day off and has decided it's finally time to confess her feelings. but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't nervous, especially with all the Robin & Steve rumors going around. seeing as they moved in together.

Nancy heads down the stairs and is about to walk out the door when Karen speaks up from the kitchen "off to work Nancy?" she really doesn't want to tell her she's going to Robin. Karen used to speak of Robin often her being Nancy's new best friend and all. but not anymore, it's as if Robin doesn't exist. so instead she says "I have the day off I'm going to Steve's house" it technically isn't a lie. Karen almost smirks "okay have fun!"

Robin hears a knock and assumes it's Eddie here to pick up Steve for their date as she just stays in and watches movies. she finds herself doing that a lot when she has free time.

She opens the door and begins to say "Hi Ed- and then she realizes it's Nancy -oh Nance hi, come in"

Steve gives Nancy a hi but ultimately decides to wait outside for Eddie to give his two friends a little space to talk.

"Robin please just listen without interrupting like you usually do-

"I don't do that!"

"Robin!"

"Oh sorry, continue" Robin says with a blush

Nancy clears her throat "as I was about to say, you might hate me or think I'm weird when I am done telling you this but regardless, I can't keep this from you anymore. I have to confess."

Robin is sweating, she thinks Nancy is about to confess a murder or something.

"I really like you Robin" Nancy says while being a blushing mess

"I really like you too" Robin replies, Nancy's words going right over her head. she thought she was just saying as a friend, there's no way The Nancy Wheeler could ever like her like that.

Nancy looks at her and grabs her hands while looking into her eyes "Robin.. I didn't mean like that."

"Oh" Robin replies "in that case.. I stand by my statement. I really like you too Nance"

Nancy looks surprised at first matching Robins own look, the both of them wondering how such an amazing girl can like them back. but they decide to stop wondering how it's possible, what matters is that it is. it's more then possible it's actually happening.

They both lean in and press their lips together. it's a sweet and gentle first kiss. but that doesn't mean there isn't some passion thrown in there. with Robin's back now against the kitchen counter that's connected to the living room. they only break apart for air. they'll of course need to discuss what this means for them and all the hardships that will come with it. but not for right now. right now they're just gonna enjoy this.
