Nancy sat at her desk trying to keep her mind on the homework in front of her. but her mind kept wandering off to something else..
'Do I like Robin' 'is mom right, is she a bad influence?'
Nancy decided these thoughts were too crammed in her mind. So she opened up a journal and just started writing. 'no one here would care enough to be nosy and read this right?' she worried, but then convinced herself she was just being paranoid. She wrote about everything, Robin, Jonathan, questions about her sexuality, etc.
She wrote a good amount of pages in about a half-hour until she decided she had to figure something out. good thing the library is open 24/7. so she snuck out the window. you see, at dinner Karen made sure to let her know she was grounded not just from Robin but everywhere. Except her job of course.

Nancy was reading a book from the "band book" section on gender & sexuality. something caught her eye "Bisexuality" she had heard of it before but in all honesty didn't know much about it. 'could this be me?' she thought. She continued reading the book a bit learning quite a few new things. before she decided to go home in case Karen or Ted came in her room to tell her goodnight.
She started climbing through the window and her face became horrified when she saw Karen in her room with the journal open in hand. "Nancy.. what is this?" Karen asked almost in tears.
'O-oh no' Nancy thought nearly unable to speak. before she got the courage to respond to her mother...
A/N: sorry for the short chapter, I've been depressed lately (just found out a pet of mine probably won't make it) so that's made it difficult to write.
