Every year the organization To Write Love On Her Arms hosts T.W.L.O.H.A. day to raise awareness for depression and suicide. The tradition is to write love on your arms to show your support. I go all out. Not only do i feel strongly about the topic, but it also lets the artist in me have some fun. Here's some of the things that ended up written on my arms:

In the light of love

All shadows

Must flee

~~~ and....
I am not alone
In sadness and shadow
I am not overcome
For I am not ashamed
I will carry on
I will not bow my head
I will never back down
For I am not ashamed
My light will not fade
Its flame will shine bright
For those who walk blind
For I am not ashamed
Hope will be faithful
I won’t let it go
I will keep it for others
For I am not ashamed
The night is over
The day is now come
I will help others see it
For I am not ashamed
My God cannot leave me
He is Darkness and Light
He holds me through trials
For I am not ashamed
He gives me my daylight
The fear will be gone
I share this sun with people
For I am not ashamed
They may not take it
They may tear me down
But I will not heed them
For I am not ashamed
I will be patient
Their hearts will soon open
And then they’ll know this joy
For I am not ashamed
The journey is hard
My heart’s failing fast
But I’ll keep it beating
For I am not ashamed
The sun will be dawning
As always before
And I’ll keep on waiting
For I am not ashamed
I am not alone
The sun is not gone
The darkness is my own
But I am not ashamed
(i didn't write the whole last section on my arm, just the first stanza.)
