"I'm curious. What do you call yourselves?" Superman asked the Avengers
"The Avengers." Tony answered, watching his glass get filled with non-alcoholic bourbon. "It's what we call ourselves. Earth's Mightiest Heroes."
"And what about you?" Captain America asked.
"The Justice League." Superman answered
"So your a black smith too huh?" Erhard asked Welf
"Uh-huh. And you're one too, right?" Welf asked back, getting a nod
"Gotta say, it's nice knowing I'm not the only teen hero out there." Spider-Man said over with the young justice league
"Nice to know that even in a different universe there's a teenage superhero too." Aqualad agreed
"You'd be surprised. Where I'm from, there's schools across the world that train future heroes." Shinso informed
"No....way..." Kid Flash gawked "Why don't we have that?"
"Why would we? We don't have that many heroes with powers. Let alone teachers to teach them." Black Canary pointed out.
"But it'd be cool." Shazam remarked.
"I can't wait till they hear and see the flaws of the MHA society." Gen Wolf thought
"By the way, you called her goddess earlier. What's up with that?" Kizuna asked Bell Cranel
"Because she's Hestia, the goddess of the hearth and homes." Gen Wolf answered for Bell.
Wonder Woman immediately snapped her head towards Hestia before bowing down.
"Uh...w-what are you doing?' Hesita asked, feeling a bit uncomfortable
"Goddess Hestia, while you may come from a different world, it truly is an honor to meet you." Wonder Woman said.
"Ms Wonder Woman here is devoted to the Greek pantheon. I believe you know some of them. Zeus, Athena, Artemis, and the like. You, Ms Hestia, are included on the list." Gen Wolf said. "Add the fact she's Zeus's daughter and Bell is Zeus' grandson... Even though snow hair is born from Hera, Zeus' wife... This is complicated..."
"T-there's no need to bow.." Hestia said a bit bashfully
"Of course." Wonder Woman said respectfully
The dynamic duo arrives in the world of Melromarc. This Melromarc, however, according to GM, had no Shield Hero. The very first Shield Hero fell in battle against a powerful being, with the hero being forgotten in time.
"That feels ... uncomfortably familiar..." Captain America muttered to himself
"Are you alright Mr... uh... I didn't get your name." Aang asked
"Rogers. Steve Rogers." Captain America answered. "What about yours, son?"
"I'm Aang." The technically 112 year old avatar greeted cheerfully
"Well, Aang, I'm okay. Thank you for asking." Steve answered.
However, there was also something different. According to GM, World Jumpers of the past, Jumpers that were around even before GM became who he was and before he became the last, had visited different other worlds before. Two of those World Jumpers, a couple, landed here, in this version of Melromarc that they're in right now.
"So there were more? Just how many of these 'World Jumpers' were there?" Aqualad wondered
"More than an army, I'll give you that hint." Gen Wolf said.
