A surge of cold air surrounded Gen Wolf once again like it was hugging him. He even got a kiss on his nuzzle from it. No doubt it was Akiza. "Happy Early New Years, Gen Wolfy. I love you a whole lot~"
Gen Wolf smiled at that.
"What's got you in a good mood?" Lili asked, noticing the wolf's smile
"Oh nothing." Gen Wolf waved off. "Christmas and New Years are around the corner."
M'gann scanned the wolf's mind and covered her mouth as she cooed. "That's so sweet. That little girl's such a sweetheart" she mentally squealed
"Thank you, but please refrain from poking around my head too much. You might suddenly get their attention." Gen Wolf requested.
"Who's calling me a sweetheart?" Akiza mentally asked, having sensed something for a moment.
"What? Can't I make a compliment?" Gen Wolf snark.
"Hehehe~ Just teasing~ Love you~" Akiza said sweetly before cutting the connection
"Like that for instance." Gen Wolf muttered. "Anyways, shall we?"
"I wanna meet her so bad now. She sounds too cute~" M'gann mentally squealed
The scene opens up to lush green plains. Cries of seagulls flying overhead a village on the coast. On the plains, just at the village outskirts, were demi-human children playing soccer/football.
Keel sighed at the memory. She missed those times. It was so much simpler then.
While those kids played, two kids were sitting down on a log under a tree just nearby. These two were a younger Raphtalia and her best friend, a weasel demi-human girl named: Rifana.

"Awww, look at them~" Pidge cooed
Keel felt choked up seeing the weasel girl but tried not to let her mournful expression show. Tho her tears betrayed her.
"Bottling up sadness is not something you should do, little one." Gen Wolf informed, "It only slowly eats you up from the inside and aches your heart."
"I-I know..." Keel muttered, letting a few tears escape
Raphtalia: Huh? A person that I love?
Rifana: *nods* Do you have anyone special like that?
The tanuki girl pondered for a moment before answering.
Raphtalia: There's my dad. How's that?
"Not what she means, kiddo." L'Arc chuckled
Rifana hung her head low, a soft hum of disappointment escaping her lips.
Rifana: *disappointed* That's not what I'm talking about.
