"L/n! Come on, wake up." You heard as your shoulder was being gently shaken. Your eyes fluttered open, and you looked up to see that Ghost was standing at your bedside with his gun in hand.

You blinked a few times before rubbing them and sitting up fully, still not completely awake.

"Where's Soap? Is everyone okay?" You asked immediately, and Ghost nodded at your questions. You took his outstretched hand and stood up since the painkillers from earlier that day were making your injury numb.

"We have a hostile that we need to question. Graves asked me to come get you, now let's go." Ghost replied, and you nodded as you trailed behind him through the compound and outside. There was a large shipping container, and he gestured to it with his eyes.

Opening the door, you saw that everyone else was inside, including a woman that you'd never seen before. She had an authoritative air about her, calm and collected as she looked directly at you.

"Ha! Muy chiquita, how'd you get associated with these pendejos?" She asked you, and you ignored her comment about your height as you instead turned towards Graves.

"Doesn't matter how she got here. Point is, you're going to answer her questions. If you don't comply, I'll show you the difference between the military... and me." Commander Graves spoke as he gestured to you.

"Vamós, tell them." Alejandro spoke as he hooked his thumbs on the straps of his vest and shrugged his shoulders sarcastically.

"I don't take orders anymore. Even the dogs in Las Almas know not to bark at me." The woman replied, and Alejandro chuckled ironically under his breath before clarifying.

"Valeria's ex-military. We served together." He spoke, causing you to turn back to who you now knew was named Valeria. Despite being a hostage, she didn't seem intimidated in the slightest as she merely crossed her legs.

"Different squads, same unit. You were the wild ones... "Los Vaqueros." My squad was clean cut señores y señoras." She went on, and you pulled your hair back into a ponytail as you walked closer to her.

"Señora, we don't want to be here any more than you want us to. Por favor, just tell us what we want, and we can all walk away knowing that this ends peacefully." You spoke, and she lifted a brow at you in surprise.

"Tú habla Español, Chiquita?" She asked in a playful tone and you merely gave a sarcastic smile in return as you leaned closer to her.

"Un poquito... now, Señora," you began circling around her chair. "If you two served together, how did you come to be El Sin Nombre?" You asked, and Alejandro chimed in.

"Her squad was clean cut until the raid on the son of La Araña. Te recuerdas?"

"Recuerdo perfecto."

Every response between the two seemed more and more personal as their frustration with one another grew. It almost felt like you were intruding on an argument between two friends instead of being the one tasked with questioning.

"Her team was told to cordon off the city to keep out La Araña's forces and prevent the bloodshed." Alejandro's tone was now growing louder and louder, and you were unsure of how to approach your next question.

"That's exactly what we did." She answered with a slight rasp in her voice to show her unbothered demeanor.

"Well, you kept out his enforcers, because you were his enforcers, huh?" Alejandro questioned without a single ounce of pride for the woman before him. You turned to Valeria for her answer, and she merely glared at Colonel Vargas.

"He was escorted to the mountains without incident. Also... without bloodshed." She tried defending, being quickly interjected by Rodolfo as he stared at her in disbelief.
