There weren't words to describe how delicate and intimate this moment felt to you, finally putting a face to the name "Simon Riley." Faded scars were prominent on his skin as your thumbs gently smudged the oily face paint.

"It's okay, just keep looking at me." You whispered as the tiredness in his eyes grew more and more evident. It was strange being able to see more emotion than just his eyes, but you refused to complain about any such thing.

He shouldn't have been capable of love, he knew this all too well. Ghost was well aware of his insensitivity towards others, and how since he wasn't enough to protect his family, felt he couldn't protect you either.

In his whole life, he never wanted someone as much as he wanted you. The warmth he felt when you two interacted, the smiles you'd give after a victory, the brushes of skin to skin contact made him crave you in the purest of forms.

"I don't know what I'm doing anymore..." he began, and you stood on your tiptoes to press a swift kiss to his cheek. It caught him off guard, but you gestured for him to continue.

"Johnny loves you. I don't think I've ever seen him this happy until now, and it feels wrong for me." He admitted, causing you to let a small frown grace your lips. He was right, you knew he was.

"I wish you could understand how awful I feel in all of this. Simon, I've known you for such little time but I also feel like I've known you for as long as I've known John." You admitted while taking his hands into yours and sitting him on the bed beside you.

"I think... I think I've fallen for both you and John." You finished, and Ghost shook his head before removing his hands from your grasp.

"Don't, Y/n. You don't love me, don't say that." He persisted, but you shook your head and tightly grabbed his vest. You pulled him towards you, though he refused to look at you.

"I do, Simon."

"Y/n, trust me. You don't."

"Hey, look at me..." You whispered to him as you held both sides of his face like before. His eyes finally situated on you with hesitance as you gently stroked your thumb across his cheek.

"I really do. I'm not going anywhere, Simon. I promise." Your words were like a prayer that he'd yearned for as you leaned forward and pressed your lips gently to his.

He'd wanted this ever since that day he left the infirmary. So why he was still hesitating, he didn't have the slightest clue. Whatever reason it was suddenly seemed to evaporate as he broke away from the kiss, immediately delving in once more with twice the passion.

He could now kiss you however he wanted, since his face was now fully exposed to the humid air. He wanted you, more than he was willing to admit out loud.

He was hasty to remove both his vest and yours, turning you both vulnerable with one another.

"This is wrong, Y/n." Simon groaned, yet made no effort to pull away from your lips since he found them so addicting. Whatever rejection he made by mouth contradicted his actions completely, his hands traveling to your hips and pulling you into his lap.

"I know, I know..." You whispered back against his lips as your tongue glided against his bottom lip. You cradled the crook of his neck and pulled him closer to you in longing. You could only describe the kiss like it was an animalistic craving, reaching to the depths of your stomach.

A rhythm developed, his hands guiding your hips back and forth along his thigh. You moaned into his mouth before pulling away, panting deeply and looking to the ceiling. You felt his lips attack your neck while his hold grew tighter and tighter on your hips.
