After closing the door, I stormed down the hallway furiously. I couldn't believe he would do something like that. Kasper just didn't seem like the kind of guy to stand up to authority.

I went into my boss' office to get some paperwork for the new admissions when I noticed the large gold plate hanging on the wall with 'Al Corker' engraved in the middle. I couldn't help but scoff.

"That conceited son of a bitch..."

Just as I grabbed the papers, the alarm goes off and a voice calls out:

"Code green!"

"Goddamnit! Another escaped prisoner? This is the second one this month.."

I mumbled to myself as I dropped all the papers and ran out of the room as fast as I could. I ran outside into the courtyard, rain instantly soaking through my clothes.

"Hey! Stop right there!"

I yelled at the dark figure before chasing after them and tackling them to the ground. I punched them hard in the face to make them stop fighting-
A flash of lightning exposes the escapee: Kasper. I instantly paled as the male lets out a sob, blood pouring down from his lip. I quickly pulled him up, holding him close. I started to take him to the gate but stopped when I saw flashlights.

"Donovan! Did you catch him!"

One of the guards said, moving closer.

I look down at Kasper who was begging me not to say anything. I sighed and looked back up at Braxton

"He's right here.."

I pushed the crying male towards the much larger man, instantly regretting my decision.
