After sleeping most of the day away, I finally woke up around three that afternoon. I don't know what was really happening, but I felt off, remembering the previous night.

Yawning, I sat up just as Donovan came into the doorway.

"Good afternoon, baby boy. How'd you sleep?"

I gave him a small smile before responding.

"That was the best sleep I've gotten in years."

"That's really good, baby! I made you some breakfast, I wasn't too sure when you'd wake up. There are some fresh clothes at the end of the bed for you. I'll be downstairs if you need anything."

Donovan then left, leaving me alone in the large room. My stomach let out a loud growl, causing me to quickly change into the black pants and oversized shirt that went down to my mid-thighs. It wasn't what I was used to wearing, but at least it was better than those itchy clothes that place made us wear.

I fixed the bed before leaving the room to find Donovan. This place felt off like I've been here before but I just couldn't put my finger on the memory. Maybe I'm still tired, I reasoned with myself just as I found the much taller man.

"Here you go, Kasper. It's something my mom used to make for me when I was younger."

At the table sat a bowl of grits, a plate of biscuits, another plate of french toast with sugar on them, and a tall glass of orange juice.

I couldn't help but smile, I've never had a breakfast like this before. I looked over at the male as he pulled the seat out for me, motioning for me to sit, so I did. He pushed me into the table.

"Eat up! I'm tired of just looking at bones every day."

I started to eat happily. Just as I finished the grits, I suddenly felt sick, so I pushed the plate away and started to excuse myself. Donovan then pulled me back down.

"Kasper, I know this is more than what you're used to, but you have to eat."

The way he said that sounded more demanding than anything I've ever heard before. I suddenly felt scared.

"Donovan.."

"Eat, goddamnit!"

I flinched and started to shovel the food into my mouth, immediately downing it with the drink. I then stood, my vision instantly blurring. I looked at the smiling man sitting next to my chair.

This wasn't the man I fell in love with. Why would he do this? Why?

Those thoughts ran through my mind as I vomited on the floor and then I passed out, the last thing I saw was Donovan smiling over my body.
