I didn't know what I was expecting when I told him those three complicated, but overused words. He was right about me working here and him being a patient, but that didn't mean anything to me. Kasper was different than any other guys I've met before. I needed him in my life and, whether I'd like to admit it or not, I look forward to seeing his beautiful face and the way he bounced every time he walked-

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard screaming coming from the courtyard. Growling quietly, I rushed outside.

"What the hell is going on here!"

I yelled, roughly grabbing Yonah's arm and pulling him away from the bruised and beaten male on the ground.

"Yonah, I understand that the voices can be very hard to ignore, but you can't go around beating people up, do you understand?"

The schizophrenic man looked up at me and just laughed.

"You can't do shit! Just admit it, pretty boy! You want-"

Without warning or hesitation, I punched him hard in the face, making him stumble back.

"Braven, go take Yonah to Dr. Howard. Tell him it's time for his bath."

I hid a small smile as Braven grabbed the distraught male and took him into the shower room. Following behind them, I turned on the bathwater as hot as possible.

"You watch him and don't let him out of that tub until his skin falls off, understand?"

"Yes, sir."

I made sure Yonah was tied down and in the bath before leaving the room. I hated this job. I hated punishing people this way, but I didn't have a choice. Sighing, I went into the courtyard, stopping in my tracks when I saw Kasper braiding his hair under the sunlight. My jaw dropped as his beauty began to overwhelm me, his bright blue eyes sparkling and his full soft lips pulled into a smile in content. His graceful laugh seemed to be carried by the wind and into my defeated heart.
