After being dismissed from the interrogation room, I stood there contemplating what to do. I heard the thuds of bone meeting the solid concrete floor, but that wasn't the most alarming matter. After all, that was normal. I immediately straightened my posture, barely breathing as I listened to his reason for being transferred here. His reason, however, is suspicious. There's definitely something he's not telling us, I could tell by the tears he's holding back. He's taken beatings from us and hasn't even cried once or let out a wince. There was more to him and maybe we could use that if only he would open up. An idea popped into my head, causing a small smile to appear across my face. Maybe if I visit him later in the evening when no one was around, he'd be willing to talk.
I began to shift cautiously to the side when the heavy and soundproof door was opened by Adonis, the breath I didn't realize I was holding finally escaped me. Before I could even say a word Adonis was ushering Kasper to walk faster to his cell. I almost felt sympathy for him even though I thought nothing of it. After all, my sleeping quarters were only down the hall from Kasper's cell so if anything happened I'd know, but the question is, why did I care? He's just another nutjob like the rest of them.
Deciding to head back after 20 minutes of trying to put together the pieces of the puzzle, I started to pick apart Kasper's story knowing he was hiding something,
"But what is it?"
I thought out loud to myself just as I heard what sounded like pleading. My natural instinct instantly pounced on the opportunity to help whoever needed it, but it was probably just Thaxter arguing with one of his personalities again. I swear that guy can be more trouble when he wants to be. But what I saw was.. Unbelievable. Adonis was holding Kasper against his own body with his dominant arm, his left hand beneath Kasper's chin, forcing him to look up into his disgustingly half-lidded grey eyes. I could barely hear him say,
"It's just once... Once won't hurt now, will it?"
Adonis said as the lust that began to consume him became stronger, taking Kasper in like an enticing drug. I moved closer step by step not even breathing, focusing on nothing but the man as I spoke firmly,
"Adonis, what are you doing?"
His face flushed as if he had seen a ghost. He quickly removed his hands and began to stutter.
"I-I...Um-"
Trying hard to control myself, I said as calmly as I could,
"Get out of my sight."
I moved into Kasper's cell, the interrogator's eyes looked wide, his face was pale and his body was trembling. I watched as he hurriedly ran out of the room, almost tripping over his own feet.
