Four

"Jax!"

The man huffed as Maggie yelled at him for the millionth rime. Shes been extra emotional lately and the smallest things set her off.

Cameron got into town so he's been helping him deal with her.

"Yes my love?" Jax poked his head into his bedroom where Maggie laid in a heap of blankets and pillows.

"I cant reach my snacks." she frowned with tears in her eyes. Jax's lips turned downwards and he grabbed them from the bedside table and set them closer to her. She opened her bag of chips and ate them with tears still in her eyes.

"How are you feeling baby?"

"How do you think?" she snapped making his eyes widen. "You did this! You put this crotch goblin in me!"

"I know sweetheart and Im sorry." hes learned its easier to just apologize and give her the fight than to argue.

"Jax Im sick of being pregnant." she sniffled.

"I know you are." he sat beside her. She leaned into his side.

"The triplets were easier than this one." she pouted.

"Maybe its quadruplets." he snickered.

"Thats not funny." she snapped making his face drop. "I want this child out of me."

Cameron walked by the room and saw Jax comforting his sister. She sighed and started to get out of bed when she doubled over in pain.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he ran in to help.

"It hurts." she winced before water began to trickle down her legs.

"Maggie..." Jax's eyes widened.

"My water just broke."

"I don't want to do this, it hurts." Maggie whimpered as Jax tried to consult her in the hospital.

"I know but you have to okay?"

"N-No, the baby can just stay inside me. Lets go home." she sat up.

"Maggie look at me." he cupped her cheeks. "I know you're in pain and Id do anything to take that pain away but just think about how happy well be when this is over. Well have our baby and well get to go home to the triplets."

"I know but I dont want to." she whined. "Why cant you just give birth for me?"

"If I could take this pain away I would." he kissed her softly. She hummed and pulled away.

"Maggie?" her nurse walked in and she let out a sigh. "Hi honey, how are you feeling?"

"Like I never want to have children again." she groaned.

"Her contractions are a minute apart now." Jax said. "I-Isnt that really close?"

"If you'd let me check how dilated you are, it might be time to get you into the delivery room." the nurse told them.

Maggie was wheeled into the delivery room and endured a very painful labor. Jax stayed by her side through all of it, even when she just about broke his hand.

In the waiting room, Ryan and Nick were keeping the triplets entertained when Iris came running in.

"Has my baby had her baby yet?" she asked looking around frantically.

"No, we haven't heard anything." Ryan said. Sam walked over to Iris and lifted his arms. She picked him up and sat down in a chair.

"I can't believe they're having a baby!" Scarlet said happily. "I hope its another girl! What about you guys?"
