"You can still come back to our company Carrie" Simon suggested, he was promoted editor-in-chief of Glam magazine this year, it was his longtime dream but he broke up with his boyfriend a week after. "And I need a new assistant since I don't think Ms. Rivera might like to extend" Simon blurted with his tempting smile, Ms. Rivera is his current assistant. "No, and I think Ms. Rivera can really handle you being too strict to her, and besides I will stick to what position I may qualify." After my conversation with my Mom-ster in law yesterday, I asked my friends Simon and Kath to help me find a new job without divulging the reason behind it to them.

After minutes of Simon asking me to accept his offer, Kath arrived with Badj busy talking to someone at the phone. "When can you start?" I was surprised when Kath came to ask me. "What start? She's going to start with me. Right dear?" Simon told Kath while giving me his choose-me look. "Wha-what are you talking about Kath? I didn't even accept Simon's offer" I said. "You don't need to accept Simon's offer because you'll gonna accept mine!" Kath said with pride. Me and Simon looked at Kath with curiosity on our face, when Badj approached us, "So Carrie, I was about to ask you for a job offer and it is from Le Diva Company, a-"Badj stopped when I continued "it's the most glamorous Magazine Company in town!" I exclaimed. Simon was shocked while Kath beamed at me mirroring my excitement. "My husband here is the asst. executive officer of that company and their department is in need of people who can help them run the business and what a coincidence, maybe it's meant for you honey!" Kath was like a preschooler telling her parents that she got a star from her teacher.

O.M.G. I am going to work at the most prestigious and glamorous magazine company in the fashion industry, and my knees are like trembling and shaking as I approach their building's main door. The security let me in, then took me to the reception area, "hi, I'm Carina-" the lady receptionist smiled at me like we knew each other, "Carina Lee?" she asked, were they already oriented that I'm coming today? They looked so prepared and really expected me for so long. This is my destiny, was I really meant for it? Still my head are like cloud nine, dreaming.

"You are for your interview Ms. Lee, let us proceed to the room they are waiting for you," I was surprised, they? Am I gonna be interviewed by a panel? I'm so nervous I just tipped on my shoe. "Sorry" I said shyly, and lady receptionist just smiled, why are they so accommodating I'm starting to love this company. As I entered the room a very corporate lady wearing black and white approached me, we shake hands and took the seat she offered, I was wondering if she's alone.

"Welcome Ms. Lee, I am Margaret Luis, from the HR department" she introduced herself and a guy also in his corporate look with a young lady whom might be his secretary came in. "And this is Mr., Rodger Timbro and his secretary Lhianne." we shake hands, "they are in the editing department, in which you are going to be assigned as assistant chief-in-editor". Whoa, I thought I will be going to be a clerk which is just okay with me, but this was way too much to what I've expected. We took our seats, and they started asking me questions, which are related to my CV.

"So, Ms. Lee, welcome to Le Diva Company, I hope you will like your stay here" they all welcomed me warmly and then Lhianne, gave me a tour around our department.

"So this will be your desk, Ms. Lee" she said dryly, I can smell bitchiness here. "And over there is the lady's CR, the pantry's over there and Mr. Timbro's office is facing at your desk, mine's beside the door, so if you have any questions in which you might disturb me, think twice to ask, thanks and have a great day." Then with all her attitude she went back on her post, I think someone here in the company hates welcoming.
