Drew woke up after sleeping at the bedside with Bea, and he was still holding Bea's hand, "Good morning" he saw me and he gazed at his watch, "it's six in the morning I thought you've forgotten your engagement party" I said dryly, "I'm cancelling it" I froze after hearing him and he planted a soft kiss on my forehead.

"What?" but we stopped when someone went inside "You don't have to" it was Giana.

I froze looking at her, "what are you doing here?" Drew asked her and dragged her outside the room but I still can hear her, "I heard what happened, your daughter, I came here to ask your permission to cancel our wedding".

I interrupted them because I wanted to be involved, I closed the door behind me, "you came here to cancel?" her eyes lightened up when she saw me and gave me her warmest embrace, "so you must be Carrie, I've heard so much about you" you did? then Drew blushed, she continued "I'm so sorry about your daughter, is she doing well now?" I nod, still registering what is happening. "Oh damn, thank God this is over!" she threw her hands up.

"I don't understand" I managed to ask, "well, let me help you understand dear," Drew wanted to talk but I cut him out, "let her do it" I told him, "alright, then as you can see I was just forced to marry this awesome man, our moms just forced us, I thought you already knew about it," she waved Drew to get lost so he went back inside the room and left me with Giana.

"Well, dear I don't want to be stuck with him forever, I liked him Carrie, I really had a crush on him when we were like ten? but that was way back then, actually I already have a secret boyfriend which my mom protest, but since Drew left me last night at our engagement party and I heard that he run with you that gave me a reason to cancel it. I'm officially free now! Thanks to you!" Wow, "why do you have to do this?" I asked "Well, my boyfriend and I broke up after hearing my engagement, I loved him so much I wanted him forever but my mom..." oh I know how you feels.

I smiled at her, and she smiled back. She wished us good luck, "because of you guys I had the courage to fight for what is right, and that is to follow my heart" I was touched with what she said, but the thing is, I never fought for my heart I even fought against it. But Drew never left me, he was the one who fought for me, he was the one who followed his heart, he even waited for me all along.

Emotions came rising inside me, I went inside and saw the man I love and kissed him, tenderly and passionately. "I'm so sorry Drew, please forgive me." then I cried in his arms. He caressed me and wiped the tears on my face, "You know I am still mad" I stopped and looked at him frowning. "You're still mad, I..." then he smiled, the sweetest smile I've always remembered, "I am still madly in love with you Carrie".
