"So this was you're plan all along, Jazz" I asked my ex-husband and also the step-brother of my new husband.

Today is Jazz' 1st year death anniversary, and my family planned to visit him. I was still thankful to him, for loving me and taking good care of Bea and leading me back to Drew. Then I startled when some fingers filled the spaces between mine, it was Drew carrying Bea who had already fallen asleep.

I don't know what is in Drew's mind but with that genuine smile on his face I can say he's pretty much thanking his brother. I was too lucky to be loved by two best men in the world, two brothers who treated each other as best friends in life. Drew, held my hand and kissed the wedding ring on my finger, "I will continue to love and care you Carrie and I hope my bro here doesn't mind" we giggled as we stared at Jazz' tomb stone.

We bid Jazz good bye then went back to Kath's baby shower, yeah you heard it right, Kath is eight months pregnant and soon to have their junior.

"Carrie! Drew!" Kath welcomed us as we have arrived at their house, it was just a simple party, full of people, some are friends, high school colleagues, neighbors, co-workers from La diva Magazine, the couple's family and Simon.

He looked fresh and happy, then I saw him whispered to someone as I approach him, I noticed they held hands secretly, hmm I bet he's the one he's been pinning at the office. Simon kissed my cheeks and waved at Drew at my back, "Carrie, meet Jason my new secretary" he introduced his secretary like he was his winning trophy. I glared at him with a so-he's-the-one grin, then he gave back an isn't-it-obvious wink.

Then I got a spare quality time with my friends at the foyer, it's been a while. "So, how's the newly wed?" Simon blurted, I blushed "well, I never had imagined this could ever happen". Last year's a bit tough, with all the happenings, the shortcomings and the unexpected events, I never could still imagined how I end up having a great ending, after all.

I never heard of Jazz family after I told them at the court that Bea is not Jazz' daughter, and as expected my mom-ster in law was hilariously mad and swore bad things against me, I wonder if she knew Drew's background, but I think she never cared at all since their family are leaving for Texas to start a new life.

It was the most heartwarming birthday I've ever witnessed when we went to states to visit Drew's mom, and be introduced as his wife. I can see the excitement and love when she met Bea, she said it was the most beautiful gift she had ever received in her entire life. Drew's mom now is still recovering and in chemotherapy and has planned to stay here with us, she wanted a home and we are pleased to give her one.

We are now staying at Clementine, memories of the past still haunts the place but I would rather have new memories there, it was a romantic love nest before but now it's more like a home.

End.
