I make it to the point that I always do my best in my work, ever since I worked in Glam magazine Susie never doubted my capabilities, she always trusted me and tells me I deserve every praise she gives me.

"Carrie!" I was startled to find Mr. timbre standing beside my desk, "You are doing great in your job Ms. Lee, no wonder you really deserve this" he patted me at the back and I gave him a polite smile. I can see Lhianne's eyes rolling 360 degrees from afar.

I was happy that Drew stick to his words, I want to progress in this company with my own capabilities like what I have achieved in Glam.

It was past ten and still there are no cabs available at the stop, good thing it's Friday and Bea's already in bed as what Therese has texted. So while waiting I grabbed on my ipod and placed the earphones in my ear, this could kill time while waiting for some cab.

Later on, my phone buzzed and it startled me, a text message from an unregistered number, who could this be? So I checked.

"Good job Ms. Lee, let me reward you. –Drew"

And my face went scarlet red again, what the—?! I hit reply.

"No it's ok, and it's my job –Carrie"

Then in just a few seconds there was a reply from him, too fast ha.

"I insist, or I could give you a ride? Since you've kept yourself waiting for almost an hour –Drew"

I gasped, how did he knew? I scanned around my surroundings, is he spying on me? how long was he watching me? oh, this guy gives me creeps! But I admit I can feel a bit giddy inside me. Traitor Carrie, I can see my inner self pointing at me.

Then just a moment, a red Ferrari sports car stopped in front of me. This car is a kill! then the window went down, my eyes widen and all I can think of is why do I get so lucky being with this god-damn like guy!

"Get in, I'll bring you home" Drew said opening the car's door. "No! It's okay, no need, I'm fine" I said, he was so tempting. "Please, Carrie" his soft angelic voice caresses my ears, he is really tempting. I glanced at the street, it is dark and quiet, scary enough that I might get raped and robbed. I looked at him again and then I gave in, AGAIN.

We drove quietly across town, and passed by several wonderful sights I can't help but grin. "Happy with what you see?" Drew said which startled me. Why do I always feel so uncomfortable and always jumpy with this guy. "Yeah" I managed to agree.

I can't help but steal glances on him at the rearview mirror, he does look handsome and overly boyish. Memories flashed back in my mind, the night under the shining moonlight, those deep blue eyes, his lips, his touch, and all pretending like we have our own universe, just the two of us at the back seat.

But now is different, we are no longer sixteen, and nor in love. People change and so are feelings, I erased that memory in my mind and Drew noticed me, "You okay Carrie?" he asked. "Yah, cool" I flushed. I caught a glimpse of his smile even in the dark as we passed under the tunnel, well some feelings will never change as long as you let them stay, and with those smile butterflies went wild inside my stomach.
