Five days on the road.

We lost Jackie to the mob leaving the CDC. T-Dog was an absolute wreck, and refused to talk to anyone. He barely even let her go and almost went down with her.

Everyone was hungry, tired, restless; but we couldn't stop until we found some place to settle. Needed to before every place in Georgia was overran with the dead, if it wasn't already.

I still couldn't stand to look at Shane. He tried to talk to me a couple of times but over half the time I'd walk away or Daryl would make sure to come right by me which acted as repellent. Even if it was to apologize I didn't want it- Shane was dangerous. And from here he was going to get worse and worse. I needed to tell Rick, but I didn't know how. I'm sure Lori wouldn't appreciate it either as she has some sort of weird twisted romance for Shane- she started to worry me lately, throwing up in the bathroom and constantly being on the verge of hunger and tiredness. Did Shane get this woman pregnant? Did Rick know or even suspect it at the least?

It was probably just a stupid superstition I had to say the least, but I couldn't really think straight when I felt like I'm in a mobile prison. Dale has been driving nonstop and sharing the wheel with Rick. They've talked about going to Florida, Savannah, maybe an island down south. But instead we just are taking the road that leads us somewhere.

"Hey, look!" Glenn leans over the window, pointing to a highway. "There's a ton of cars, and it's empty- who knows what they could have?"

"He's right," I say standing up. I peer out of the window and see several unbreached cars along the highway. "They look abandoned- probably people driving to go on foot and escape the city that way. We should watch out for walkers still, but we could find some good supplies there. Stock up on ammo and maybe canned goods.

"We should give it a shot." Andrea says. She's been silent most of this time, but she seemed to be circling back to reality.

"We need to stop, I'm starving." T-Dog chokes out. His giddy self wasn't back yet.

Daryl appears next to me, chewing on a toothpick. "Yeah, we need to go. Runnin' low on supplies like this and we won't last long."

"Alright, Dale pull off over west." Rick says pointing.

I run over to the couch, putting on my shoes and gathering my weapons. I picked up a small multi bladed knife in the RV so I had a silent and an emergency weapon. The RV turns and comes to a stop, everyone trying to pile off.

"Alright we don't need to lose everyone," Rick gestures with his hands up. "Dale, Shane, and Andrea. You guys are on top of the RV- you'll be on watch. , Glenn, Daryl, Sage, and I will be sweeping the highway and making sure nothing it lurking. T-Dog, Carol, Lori- search for food and breach the cars using a crowbar right at the door."

I nod and stand up, tucking my knife into my half torn and dirtied cargo pants pocket. I sigh as I think about how nice it would be if I found a change of clothes for myself- there had to be something here. I was covered in dried sweat, blood, and dirt.

Daryl, Glenn, Rick, and I head off of the RV and immediately start to comb through the arrays of cars.

I kneel down, looking under a car and seeing a walker. It slowly snapped its teeth at me, it's head stuck under the car. I take my knife and sweep it into its skull, pulling it out and turning my head to avoid the deceased blood spatter.

I stand up and brush myself off. "They're under the cars so careful, we don't need any sneak attacks." I look to the boys and they nod, continuing to sweep through and kneel under the cars.
