"You have no idea how happy I am you're home." This earned Rory a grin.
"I miss you a lot too." Elena remained quiet for a moment but then huffed.
"What's Maeve's cousin's name again?" She questioned and Rory stopped her next action."Julia—I'm not going to say that it's been a good reign under them, but it's—It's not the same."
"Course not, that man has a stick up his ass the size of the Willow tree outside." Elena bit back and Aurora nodded along."It was difficult to turn his name from Beta to Alpha, and if it wasn't for Remus—Nobody would've bothered with Crescent Moon anymore."
"Harlow and Issac?" Aurora sighed, clearly the pack had been left in a rather difficult place when Remus had stepped down."He's in trouble. Taking title away from pups."
"I've joked about it with Jack hundreds of times, that you'd be whooping his ass when he finally meets you on the moon." Sage let out a darkened nod and took the rag once again and started to scrub away the dirt and sweat that managed from the last time she had the opportunity to clean herself.Aurora truly didn't know what to think about the wolves in Half Crescent, but she did find herself liking Elena and the higher-ups. Yet it didn't speak for the majority of the pack, nor did the three females prepare for the sudden change of all the others from their animal skins to actual clothes.
Sage certainly gained much more of her color back after a bath, and smiled at how filled her home was. Especially when Remus was sitting with the twins just beside him on the couch, he felt her gaze and shot her a smile while offering up Rue.
"She's been asking for you." That instantly caused her to scoop up the demanding little toddler and curl her into her neck. "Andy you meet pups?"
"Yep, they love me."
"As if." Remus shot back, and it earned Andrew a shared glare from both father and son.Sure enough, he laughed at the similarity and couldn't help himself but snatch the future Alpha up in his arms.
"How did you manage to make such a grumpy pup when you have Mystic Grimm genes to balance it out?" Andy questioned, and that certainly won him points on the Mystic side as Hayes came over and pointed out the same.
"Stopppp! Daddy!" Andrew had started to tickle the little fellow, but the way that everyone had reacted to the shouting of Ronan shrieking caused Sage to frown.
She knew it was hurting Remus a lot more than he was letting show, and so she looked straight to both her brother and father in warning that they needed to back off.Following her way into the kitchen, she met the rest of her family, along with Severin. Though it was only Drake and Severin who were helping Haylee and Jade with dinner.
Sage had come over to Jade and rubbed her cheeks, it was much more than just a simple thank you, the torment in Sage's eyes and expression was clear. The girl had such a resting face now after what she experienced that even the small hints from Drake were enough to make him shiver in remembrance.
"Gigi from the pack house brought over a few of those serving canisters for warm drinks. It's a big hit outside."
"Pack really likes tea." She claims and looks to her cabinet and starts grabbing the few boxes in her arms. "I got!" Rue shouted, holding one of the many of them as well."Luna, I can take it."
"It's okay. I need to talk to them." That was all Sage said to Severin's offer, but he was already too busy with his current task."Come on RueRue, we'll meet Half Crescent." The baby babbled and that certainly caught the attention of everyone as Sage walked forward with a small party behind her. Remus still needed the help of his cane to maneuver properly but of course, Andrew led him a hand when it came to the stairs.
