Sage had taken a small trick from the witches, it wasn't as powerful as she hoped—But it did give her some comfort to try and manifest that the Synders are found guilty.

Though it was extremely difficult, as there wouldn't be a regular jury and instead the better part of those currently in charge would have the final verdict. With Crescent Moon bringing the case towards the rest of America, their leaders didn't count for the final vote.

Instead, they would also be placed on trial, all things considered. But the pack itself was just as eager to put down the remaining wolves that were keeping Randal Moon's teachings alive.

With twelve packs, it left a great deal of votes to be placed on the verdict. Though Arctic Crest would only be considered as one pack, as agreed with the rest of America.

Sage, however, thought it was absolutely hilarious to see just how invested the rest of their world had turned invested. Many Lunas had flooded her inbox, asking if they needed help or for more details on scheduled times.

She felt enlightened to be able to communicate just as fluently as Julia or Aurora now, though it did stump her on one detail.

Who is defending the Synders?

Thankfully she didn't have to wait much longer as the male is scheduled to come in the next hour to set up and gather his own information. Though she didn't know how comfortable she felt with them remaining on pack grounds, and after sharing that with Remus, he claimed that he would be staying off pack grounds.
Which sounded even worse.

As noon finally came around, Sage had finally arrived at the pack house and smiled to see Luke just leaving. "Hey, Sagey...How's my favorite sister doing?" He asked and she tilted her head as she thought about his question.

"You don't have any more sisters." She said with an annoyed huff, and her brother only threw his head back with a howling laugh.
"I do have a couple now, Allison, Lexi...And whoever Cameron and Casey mate with in the future." She remained silent in thought and nodded. "I have a lot of brothers—"
"Yeah, you do." He said, his smile not dying down even for a second as he joined her walk to the Alpha's office. "It's alright, I know I'm your favorite."

"How?"
"Because you don't wanna tell me, but I wouldn't mind if you said Harlo—"
"I know you more." Within the instant, Sage's laughter had sparked as she began to dodge Luke's hands that threatened to tickle her.

The only issue is that the sound carried throughout the hall and sparked Remus' worry as he peered down the hall— "Elwood!" The Alpha's tone had stilled Luke as he turned in attention, and Sage caught it as the perfect opportunity to tickle him in the side.

"I thought I said get the guest from the—"
"On it, sir! Was just making sure Sage found her way up here." Remus hadn't expected such a playful response from either Luke or Sage, and he found himself thankful that the oldest Elwood brother is already mated with a pup.

Otherwise, he would've started to wonder if Sage's attention was starting to go elsewhere, but that was soon destroyed as she leaned in for a small greeting before turning to the rest of the room.

They were currently waiting on Jackson, who was training a few dozen pups in place of Luke for the day, and Julia, who was on the phone with her brother from Grey Hallow.

They were still trying to come up with a viable option from the hint, but it only frustrated the Beta female—Everyone felt so sure that this is the clue that they needed, but it was as if they were forcing an explanation from it when really could just be a coincidence.
