The next morning was nothing close to comfortable, Sage recalled the days and the mornings following the discovery of her pregnancy with the twins, where Remus would be so happy touching and caressing her stomach that it annoyed her to death.

Especially considering that there wasn't even a bump close to forming yet.

Here and now, however, there was none of those causal touches. And it took Sage a few times to remind herself that this pup is not his.
He wouldn't touch her, for the sake of Andrew's sanity.

Yet in doing that, Andrew felt as though he couldn't be too embracing of this newfound knowledge either, and did his best to be respectful of the terms they had agreed upon last night. There was just one aspect that Remus and Hayes weren't on his side about.

In terms of what the pup's last name will be—Will they be a Clark or a Moon?

There was no point in bringing the question up again, not when the mother of the pup was set on making the pup a Clark. Given all that's happened, Sage was very happy that there was indeed a pup, and all those hopeless nights of begging and pleading with the Moon Goddess had finally come true.

But with this came another fear—One that Hayes did not know if he wanted to share with Remus. Instead, he went ahead toward Blake, his daughter's Charge and his newfound confidant over the months they suffered together.

Funny enough, the male had asked if either he or his family wanted to move to Mystic Grimm when they were promptly removed from Crescent Moon, but Blake couldn't face Sage's family on his own.

Not when he was still blaming himself.

Even now, as he was packing up his bag, he still felt the wave of nausea as he was still trying to get his thoughts in order. Though thankfully, Remus' scent filled his nostrils and caused him to turn.

Yes, the Alpha was coming full force toward him, and his expression was any less than impressed. So he drew himself up to face the Alpha and nodded before engaging.

"You alright?" The former Rogue asked.

"Just about. Passing these borders is making my wolf on edge, and Sage is—"

"She's good," Blake reassured, and Remus snarled knowing that the bond he has with the female was straining with every passing moment the pup was in her.

He didn't want to know what would happen following the birth, how close both she and Andrew would become. Hadn't his own relationship sparked with the twins?

"She's good. Promise. Sage can't hold back with me, we're connected, remember?"

"Yeah, just not used to being blocked from everything."

"Well, given that Andy isn't able to feel anything either...Sounds like the bite isn't getting him anywhere either. Besides, it was just to save the pup. It has no meaning. Hell, I've bitten a few females like that too—It'll fade in a few weeks."

"It'll fade if they aren't close to each other." Blake bobbed his head and then shrugged. "Yeah well, if it makes any change on the outlook you have on this—She was very on the side of rejoining with you. As Luna and mate. It's just postponed with—"

"With a pup on the way, yeah. I get it. What I mean to say is that I want you to stick by Sage's side." That had caused Blake to chuckle, shaking his head before he looked back up to his Alpha.

"Think Hayes has it covered."

"No. He'll be distracted, I need you to keep things under control when we're going further into the territory." Blake nodded, though he truly did not want to be the one to disagree with him.
