***NORMAL POV***

It had been a few days since we told Colt I was pregnant, and he hadn't come around yet. Mason had made her annoying visit to congratulate us, and I was scheduled to go meet with Wilford soon. I was putting that off as long as I could. I was sitting on the bathroom floor not feeling the best, morning sickness was a bitch. I held it off as long as I could, I knew Curtis would want to stay here and not go to work if he knew how I felt. I had just finished being sick when a small knock came from outside the door.

"Mom?" I heard a small voice.

"Be out in a minute Colt." I said. I got up and washed my mouth out. Once I opened the door Colt was sitting there waiting for me and I smiled.

"Are you sick?" He asked me and I sighed.

"A little. I'll be okay." I said and he gave a small smile.

"Should I go find dad?" Colt asked and I shook my head.

"No, I'll be okay. How would you feel if we laid in bed and you had a cuddle time with me for a little bit?" I asked and he smiled with a nod. We walked into the bedroom and laid into the bed. I quickly fell asleep.

***CURTIS POV***

I walked into the room and didn't see anyone, I then went into the bedroom and saw Colt sitting on the bed by Esme. He was coloring in a coloring book.

"SHHH" He said when I walked in, and I smiled.

"She okay?" I asked.

"She was sick this morning. She didn't want me to come and get you, but she just wanted to sleep." Colt said and I nodded.

"Well thank you for staying with her." I said and he nodded.

"Why don't we head out and let mom rest?" I asked and Colt nodded. I looked at Colt when we got to the living room.

"I have a surprise for your mom, it took a lot to be able to pull off this surprise. You want to come with me to get it?" I asked and he nodded. I wrote a quick note for Esme in case she woke up and we were gone. I took Colt's hand, and we walked the length of the train and got to the end of the train. Colt looked a little scared.

"Are you sending me back? So, you have room for the baby?!" Colt panicked. I crouched down to his leave and pulled him into a hug.

"Not even close buddy, your mom's surprise is on the other side of the door, and I just have to go in and get it. You will never be sent back here again. You and your mom are safe with me, always will be." I said as I hugged him. He broke my heart when he asked, and I just picked him up when I stood back up. I opened the door, I saw Tanya and Timmy hugging people and I smiled at her when she saw me.

"Ready?" I asked and she nodded grabbing Timmy's hand.

"Timmy!" Colt said excitedly and I put him down so he could walk and talk with his best friend. We left the back of the train.

"How is she?" Tanya asked as we walked.

"Hiding morning sickness from me." I said and Tanya chuckled.

"She did the same when she was pregnant with Colt. She doesn't want to show weakness." Tanya said and I groaned.

"Yeah, I figured." I said.

"She know you did this?" Tanya asked and I sighed shaking my head.

"No, but I know she wants you with her. She has friends she made on the front of the train but you are more than a friend Tanya, you are family. We need our whole family with us." I said and she smiled.

"So where will we be staying?"

"The room beside ours is currently vacant." I said and she smiled.

"Curtis, I don't know if I could ever thank you enough for this." Tanya said and I smiled at her.

"You don't owe me any thanks Tanya. This is my hope to get everyone equal or better treatment and I know it's Esme's hope too." I said and she smiled. Once we reached her place I smiled and helped her inside.

"Why don't you guys get settled, shower, whatever you like. We can do dinner tonight and surprise Esme." I said and Tanya nodded.

"Sounds amazing. We will be over in a few hours." Tanya said and I nodded.

"Colt come on, let's go get mom." I said and he took my hand as we walked back to our place.

***NORMAL POV***

I woke up and found the note left by Curtis and sighed.

I was cleaning up a little when he and Colt walked back through the door.

"Hey, what do you think you are doing?" Curtis asked as I picked up some toys.

"Just cleaning since my men left me all alone earlier." I said and Curtis came over and gave me a small kiss.

"Colt, do you think mom should be picking up your toys?" Curtis asked and he shook his head. He walked over and started picking everything up.

"Curtis, I'm pregnant, not dying." I said and he smiled.

"I know but I want you to be careful, okay?" Curtis said as he and I sat on the couch. "So, we are having some people over for dinner tonight." Curtis said and I groaned.

"Curtis..." I said.

"It's okay, it's not Mason or anyone like that. Just some people. It's okay." Curtis said and kissed the side of my head. I sighed.

"So, you want to tell me about your morning sickness now or later?" Curtis asked after a few minutes and I huffed a laugh, looking at Colt.

"You told dad I got sick?" I asked and he nodded.

"I got worried mom." He said and took his toys to his room. I sighed and rested my head on Curtis' shoulder.

"It's normal Curtis, I will be fine." I said and he sighed placing a hand on my still flat stomach.

"I just want everything to be perfect." Curtis said and I nodded.

"I know, it will be fine." I said and he nodded. We stayed on the couch for a little while. After about 20 minutes I was fluttering my eyes open. Curtis looked down at me and smiled.

"You let me sleep." I said sitting up and he shrugged.

"I don't care. You need all the sleep you can get." Curtis said and I looked at saw food on the table.

"You had food brought down?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yeah, I didn't want you cooking, and I didn't feel like it so before I went and got your surprise which should be here soon, I ordered food." Curtis said. I groaned.

"Curtis, I hate surprises." I said.

"You'll love this one." Colt said and I smiled. There was a knock on the door.

"Why don't you go answer the door..." Curtis said with a smile. I smiled and got up, walked to the door and opened it...
