***7 MONTHS LATER***
I was walking the train having contractions just not saying anything to anyone. They were far enough apart I wasn't too worried. I was 9 months and a few days. I was ready, I wanted this kid out, I wanted it gone. We weren't sure what we were having. The train had no ultrasound equipment, so everything was old school. As we got ready to cross a bridge I was looking out of the window. I was looking at something intently when I felt hands snake around me and rest on my stomach.
"You need to be in bed resting." Curtis whispered in my ear.
"No, I need this damn kid to get out of me. Walking induced labor...so I'm walking." I said and Curtis sighed.
"Sweetie don't rush it. When the baby is ready, the baby will come." Curtis said and I glared at him.
"Curtis, please stop trying to be sweet and help." I said and then I noticed something out the window.
"What is that?" I asked pointing down. Curtis looked down.
"No fucking way." Curtis mumbled.
"Curtis..." I said and he sighed.
"We are on Yekaterina Bridge. Ever since we have been on this train when we go over this bridge, I come out to look. Down there is a plane that is wrecked and 10 years ago all you could see was the tail..." Curtis said.
"But I just saw the wings and body of it." I said and he nodded. "Does that mean...?" Curtis asked.
"We don't say anything about what we just saw, to anyone." Curtis said and I looked confused.
"Curtis...we need to tell someone! This could all be coming to an end, the snow and ice are melting! We won't have to take over the train, we could get off and give our kids a life." I said excitedly and Curtis cupped my face.
"No one." Curtis said and I sighed but nodded.
"No one." I repeated. He then leaned in giving me a small kiss moving his hands down to my belly.
"Can you come and lay down now please?" Curtis asked and I sighed.
"Fine...not like it will do any good. This child is insistent on not coming out. He likes it in there." I said rubbing my stomach and Curtis huffed a laugh.
"He? How do you know?" Curtis asked as we walked along the train.
"Just a feeling." I said and Curtis smiled. As we walked past the medical car I doubled over in pain and Curtis stopped with me. A nurse came running out and I sighed.
"Come in Mrs. Everett. You shouldn't be up, and we can check the baby." The nurse said and went to help me walk in, but I stopped and looked between my legs.
"It's time." I said noticing my water broke. We rushed me inside and I looked at Curtis.
"Go get Tanya then stay with the boys." I said and he looked at me shocked.
"Esme..." Curtis said.
"Curtis, please, you don't need to see this. The boys will need you." I said and he groaned but helped get me situated in bed and then left.

I was lying on the bed uncomfortable and having a horrible delivery. Tanya was in with my wiping down my forehead and trying to keep me calm.
"Tanya..." I moaned out.
"I'm right here sweetie." She said and I looked at her with tears in my eyes.
"I want Curtis...please get Curtis." I said and she sighed.
"Are you sure?" She asked and I nodded.
"I need him." I said and she rushed out of the room. I wasn't sure how long she was gone but it seemed like a lifetime. Soon Curtis was rushing in, and I sighed in relief upon seeing him. He rushed over to me. "Something is wrong, the baby isn't coming, and it hurts so bad." I said and Curtis just ran his fingertips up and down my cheek.
"Hey, everything is going to be okay. I'm here now and everything will be fine." Curtis whispered and kissed my forehead. Curtis sat there next to me, tending to my every need but inside his heart was clenching knowing that something was severely wrong, he heard the doctor and nurse talking as he came in that this was taking longer than they thought. He just sat there knowing he couldn't lose me not matter what.
❄❄❄❄❄
After a few hours the doctor came in to examine me and then looked up at me.
"It's time Mrs. Everett. Are you ready to push?" He asked and I groaned. I was tired already. I looked At Curtis and he smiled.
"Come on Esme...you are strong, you can do this." Curtis said and I got in a better position on the bed and sighed as Curtis got up with me. After pushing, grunting, crying and screaming I heard a baby crying and I looked at Curtis with a smile but wore out.
"It's a boy!" The nurse exclaimed and I smiled as Curtis kissed my forehead.
"I told you." I said and he smiled at me. As the doctor was about to get up, I screamed out in pain again.
"Mrs. Everett..." He said and looked up at me.
"What's going on?" Curtis asked panicked.
"Well, there is another baby coming. I see the head already. This is way we were having issues earlier. They were trying to both fit through." The doctor explained.
"Two?! Twins?!" Curtis asked and the doctor nodded, and I grabbed Curtis' hand and he smiled at me.
"Alright Esme, be the strong woman you are. One more time." Curtis said and I cried out and pushed. Soon the second baby was out.
"It's a girl!" The nurse exclaimed and I smiled.
"Finally." I said and Curtis smiled kissing my forehead again and then wiping it down. Soon Curtis was handed the babies and I smiled seeing him hold both babies.
"Welcome to the world babies. Sorry about how it is. I promise it will be better." Curtis said and I smiled at him and then looked at the babies. I was content, 2 babies was a shock but I was now happy and content with my family.
