"Okay imma need you to take exactly what you just told me and slow it all the way down doc." I say almost completely out of breath not from how fast i ran up these hospital stairs but from the news that made me do that in the first place...

My dad is stood at the corner of the bed gripping onto the weak hand of my mother, her hand almost slipping away from his own its just that weak. I can't bear to see my mother like this and i did everything i could so when i heard the doctor say what he just said.. i-

"The person Requested to stay anonymous, but i can tell you how pleased they were to take care of the bill."

But how, when, who? I dont understand?! Just a few weeks ago i stood here with no hope at all for my ma, there was nothing to cling onto. And now your telling me all of a sudden some magical hero has swooped in to save the day and pay the entire surgery?" I feel my eyes swell with tears and I force myself not to let them drop.

The doctor waves a hand back towards my mothers hospital bed where her breathing is hard and loud. She looks almost lifeless as her hand stays in my dads grip.

Even though she has all types of tubes stick in her nose and is hooked onto some type of oxygen tank, i can still see my mother in there. I can still see her smile hear her voice. I miss it all.

I cant stand the thought of my mother dying without me telling her all my deep secrets especially the biggest one. My stomach wretches at the thought, almost as if my baby is trying to force me to say it to her.

I take some gentle steps up to my mothers bedside, barely being up able to look at her. My old father with his grey stubble and black and grey specs of hair showing how much my mother's sickness aged him. He isn't even that old... but he cant even speak to me, he can't even speak at all.

"Im sorry doc, you probably feel like a broken record but surely you can understand my confusion. What type of crazy jawn would pay for the surgery of someone they dont know." The patient Asian doctor with dark black glossy slick back hair and a smile that i know ma would be gushing over...

"It rarely happens, you have a right to be shocked Ms carter. But an anonymous source came forward last night and offered to pay for the complete surgery with no ties whatsoever, only asking that their name dont be disclosed." Even the doctor as professional as he is, had a kink in his voice that spiked with my same disbelief.

This stuff don't happen to a chick like me, who else is it other than The miraculous hand of God.

My mothers hand is still stuck in place, her eyes rolling to the back of her head and one side of her face drooping down but a part of me is hoping she is still hearing this.

"So.... So what now?" I ask. My voice almost breathless with disbelief, im still in complete shock and partial denial of what im hearing.

"Now, we will ask you and your father to fill out some paper work and we will send your mother into emergency surgery as soon as possible..." if my heart beat couldnt already be heard like it was held up to some type of speaker i will be shocked.
