I rush to the front door of their obnoxiously big house that looks like its meant for the president, My hand bangs on the door with no time to waste, i can only imagine how far behind i am with this case already, i dont need anything else slowing me down right now..

Not even Ziana and her difficultly although that's all that i can think about. She's all that's on my mind.

The door stays closed until i abuse the doorbell beside it a few times deafening Paxton's family and anyone within a 10 metre radius.

A light from the entrance welcomes me through the dark along with a smiley faced little girl, Her little blonde pigtails bounce up and down as she jumps into my body almost slamming me back from the impact,

"Uncle Roman!!" She yelps giggling to the point where she almost can't get her words out anymore, i pull her up and jump her body in the air a few times watching her giggle herself breathless before giving her a kiss on her forehead.

Lacey is yet another one of the very few people that i tolerate, maybe even more with her. She's not like the other bratty annoying kids, she's smart like savannah and always smiles when she sees you.

"Why do you keep getting cuter every time i see you, huh?" I ask making her smile and shove her arms around my neck as i finally walk further into the house.

It's warm and cozy, it holds a different atmosphere than my house even though they are almost the same size. Something about this house is different..

It's because it holds a family and you're house is filled with loneliness

I dont need anyone else and I'm not lonely..

"Uncle roman, daddy got me a new toy, wanna see?" She pipes up with excitement, i put her down and watched as she scurried upstairs to get it.

I strolled into the kitchen and stand around the plain island. The kitchen looks like a lodge, its very homely and the brown wooden furniture makes it look like one of our holiday homes. I leaned against the counter and put my hands to my head rubbing my temples.

I have this case that I've always wanted for so long and all that I can care about is the woman that wants absolutely nothing to do with me,

It doesn't help that earlier today i got a text from my uncle that woke me up to the soon and coming reality for me.

Uncle Clark: When exactly do you expect to get married roman?

Uncle Clark: i hope you realise the time is running down on the clock

Uncle clark: the reason I haven't been coming over and texting you for so long is to give you space to plan the wedding by yourselves

Uncle clark: do you need me to help you guys with things? The quicker the better.

Uncle Clark: Roman Lancaster Miller, If i need to come over there i Will don't test me.
